Aptive Pest Control's technician, Rutger came on time last Monday, 8/3/26. He worked on the initial treatment in every area of our houses with great care. He completed his job without any disturbance to anyone who was in the house at that time. Kudos to him and the job well done!

The person who can and sprayed for bugs did a great job. They were quick and efficient get the spots that needs the most attention around my house.

This company had my elderly mother sign a contract who is incompetent to make decisions. When trying to cancel whatever they had her sign I could no where. Let alone talk to someone who speaks English. I have put in a customer complaint and will be filing a charge with BOLI. DO NOT FALL for this scam. This is in Keizer, Or.

First visit was not great
First visit was not great, tried to cancel and they charged me 199 for the cancellation fee plus the $107 for the second visit which never happened. If you try to call customer service, they don’t issue any refund so I would be careful.

I signed up with Aptive Environmental at their Frisco, TX location after a sales representative offered to combine pest control and lawn treatment into a single service. Based on that offer, I agreed to an 18-month contract at a higher rate — approximately $30–35 more per month for the lawn treatment add-on.
Over the following months, I noticed my lawn was never actually being treated. I raised this issue multiple times. After approximately 9–10 months, Aptive finally admitted that lawn treatment was **never a service they offered** — they said it was given to me "erroneously." So for nearly a year, I was paying for a service that simply did not exist.
Around the 12-month mark, they offered to reduce my bill to $50 and remove the lawn treatment, and they promised to reimburse approximately $360 for the months I was overcharged. I accepted this resolution.
After spending many hours on the phone and in chat with their customer service team — being bounced around and given the runaround — they have now suddenly **denied my refund request** with no adequate explanation.
To summarize:
- They sold me a service they don't offer
- They charged me for it for nearly a year
- They admitted the error
- They promised a refund
- They denied the refund
This is deceptive and unethical. I would strongly caution anyone considering Aptive to get everything in writing and verify that the services being sold actually exist. Do not trust verbal promises from their sales team.

Last week the people showed up 3 days after the day of the appointment. I have the appointment today between 12 and 4 pm to do what was not treated last week, but they showed up around 8 or 8:30 by my house. Without a call or messenge to let me know they where on the way. And the people spent no more than 5 minutes treating the whole back yard. And the didn't spray any quimicols.
So disappointed without the service.
