I called to ask a question. It was answered with pleasure. I have had others recommend Europcar and after many years of traveling to France, I decided to try it! I'm very pleased so far and look forward to a lovely vacation. Thank you.
Auto Europe is no longer a reliable company
Made a reservation for a car in Paris for one week. Flight got canceled. I called AE. A guy at AE told me that he would contact the rental company. Landed in Paris and could not get the car. I had to rent with Sixt (BTW, amazing people there at Sixt CDG). I called several times AE to get a refund but it was denied. Recently, rented a car in Italy. AE is kind enough to NOT show clearly that Spain and Italy require International DL now. So, for the second time, I lost the money of the rental. AE used to be great, particularly in Europe. But that's no longer the case. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM, THEY (Or some of the bad rental car company they contract) WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. Too bad, I was a loyal customer for 15 years.
