Very disappointing experience.
Based on my own interactions, I found that the agent, Joseph Kavanagh, was not professional. He missed scheduled appointments without notifying me in advance, did not greet me on the day of the sale, and did not reply to my emails. I also contacted his supervisors about these issues, but unfortunately received no response.
Overall, the agency did not feel serious or professional in my experience. I do not recommend it.

I contracted Betterhomes as the property manager for my Dubai apartment in 2022, and my experience with them over the past few years has been consistently positive. They have strong market knowledge and always provide an accurate and realistic appraisal of rental value. Their tenant vetting process is thorough, and they only bring clients who are reliable and capable of meeting their financial commitments.
Betterhomes handles all contractual matters professionally and manages tenant maintenance requests efficiently, always seeking my approval before undertaking any work. Rental collections and transfers are timely, which gives peace of mind when managing a property from abroad.
Their property supervisors are experienced and well-qualified. In particular, I would like to acknowledge Donald Macharia Mwangi, who has been supervising my property for the past year. He has always been responsive, professional, and helpful.
Overall, Betterhomes is a trustworthy and dependable company, ideal for owners who need their property looked after while they are not in Dubai.
One area of improvement could be further investment in technology — for example, a mobile app that allows owners to view property updates, rental payments, maintenance expenses, and communications in one place. This would add even more transparency and convenience.
Highly recommended.

From the start, he was clear in his communication, patient with every question, and incredibly hands-on. He met with us weekly — adjusting to the time difference without hesitation — to keep me fully informed from abroad. What meant the most was how he visited my parents in person for their updates because he knew they appreciated hearing the progress directly and more regularly. That level of care is rare.

Luke consistently went above and beyond, especially during the handover transition.
