The cabin was beautiful! Clean, ready to use. The only issue we hit was that the cabin smelled like cigarette smoke. We had to open the doors to air it out. But everything else was great. Customer service was amazing too; we called and they put a note down so we avoided the fee (it was a smoke free cabin). I’d book again!

Beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood, and there was plenty of things for our kids(3 & 6) to do! They had so much fun in both the playroom and game room! Also, booking process was pretty smooth and easy!

This is the 3rd time I stayed in this cabin. It's exactly perfect for us. Nicely fenced yard for the dog! Cabin is spotless and well maintained. Easy to book and directions are perfect. This cabin is a bit out of the way from Big Bear Village, but it's so quiet that it's worth the little extra drive.

Everything was great except the bathroom and shower. The shower head was kind of nasty and should've been cleaned. Other than that Everything else was great.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was great for the 4th of July weekend. Everything was clean and comfortable. We can not wait to come back in the Fall. The rental process was seamless as well.

We came up for a week and rented through Big Bear Cool Cabins, like we have many times. We have had good luck with them and as always their service was good. As far as this particular property itself, if you're simply looking for a place to stay, and nothing more, it will do. The location was fine and the neighborhood was quiet. There is little to no room for suitcases etc in the bedrooms. While there, we gave up on getting the living room TV to work, although BBCC offered to send a maintenance guy to check it out. About half of the games in the game room were either out of order or glitching. The curtain rods often fall when you try to open the curtains. We could only get one side of the stove to light. The igniter for the barbecue didn't work, and there were no matches or lighter to be found. Cleanliness wasn't perfect; the kitchen chairs were pretty stained and we decided to clean the dog pee looking stain off the bottom of the guest room door ourselves when we got there. If you're a taller person, the sloped ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom might not be ideal. We didn't expect the Taj Mahal, we've rented in Big Bear many times and know the deal. However, this place was a little bit janky. If all you need is a base of operations, it's fine.

The house was very clean. We had an enjoyable stay at this place. Some minor details: the downstairs bathroom was not locking, the sliding door handle was broken near the dining table. Also the upper parts of the curtains in the living room were hanging off rail and one of the lights on the balcony was not lighting up. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

I wanted to say a huge shout out to the staff at Big Bear Cool Cabins. We stayed at the property at 181 Round Drive for 4th of July weekend. The kids had a blast all weekend. They did bike riding all around and got to kayak since we were across the street and could walk to the lake. The best part was that after we left we drove back to LA and I realized I had left my entire purse sitting on the coffee table. I instantly called the phone # attached to the reservation and they said that housekeeping wasn’t coming until the next day. They did find it and it was mailed back to me with everything in tact including cash, credit cards and makeup. Thank you so much for being honest, doing the right thing and making it possible for me to not have to drive all the way back up there. A special thanks to Star M. who made all the shipping arrangements.

Was impressed with their communication from booking to the check in experience. Helpful and friendly office staff made it even better. We booked a 3bdr and 2 bath village condo and it turned out great. Clean, spacious and with amenities such a bbq grill, bath towels and toiletries and kitchen accessories made our stay very memorable. See u guys next time!!

The service provided was excellent. During our stay we had a couple requests and the team was very responsive and helpful. The cabin itself was overall nice and the location was quiet. We do have some general recommendations that would have made the stay more comfortable such as updating the kitchen supplies as no oven mitts or dish sponges were found. We would also recommend freshening up pillows and linens or recommend guests bring their own pillow. The jelly belly brand pillow was not the most supportive lol. Lastly, the main bedroom upstairs is challenging to use with the slanted walls, but would recommend upgrading the Murphy bed downstairs to a normal bed. The downstairs shower is great. Overall good spot in Big Bear.

This cabin had everything I needed, from kitchenware to cleaning supplies to paper towels, dish soap, seasonings, bath tissue, towels.. you name it, it had it. And it was so comfy and inviting and close to all of downtown Big Bear.

The home was beautiful and roomy. Was able to enjoy the spa and on the 4th of July we enjoyed watching the fireworks show from the front of the home. Short walk to the zoo is a big plus
