I purchased 3 sets of Birch Lane kitchen chairs after reading tons of reviews. However, I did not receive Birch Lane chairs. I received Safavieh chairs which received mediocre reviews on line. I’m disappointed with this bait and switch. I’m in the process of returning now and it is not a smooth process. I’m annoyed that I have to do this right now.

Beautiful chairs. Highly recommend it you are interested. Delivered on time on the porch because I caught the driver on time he was planning on leaving it on the driveway. I could not have lifted it there. I am a senior and I used my handyman to unpack and get them in the house. I would pay for a white glove service if you are older.

My order was promised to be delivered on July 9th, never happened. Customer rep could not provide me with a firm date; the best they could do was offer me a complete refund. A refund is not what I want; all I want is the product that I ordered.

The sales process was bumpy. Were it not for the free "designer" I would not have purchased over $5k in furniture. Too many upward price changes over three weeks. She pulled it all together and made the sale with a cost that was reasonable. Paying for the furniture was also a problem. I tried paying on line. Going through the payment screens showed Birch Lane would send me a code to proceed with payment. The code never came via email and it wasn't in my Spam folder. I had to contact my "designer" and she gave me a number to call so I could make my payment. The actual furniture, Brunswick, exceeded expectations. Very nervous over spending this kind of money on something I haven't seen or touched. Couldn't be more pleased with how it came out. It was over a day's work for this 80+ year old guy to assemble but the instructions were excellent and fairly easy to complete. Asked the furniture delivery service to place the furniture in our porch. Instead they left it outside on our patio. I had to enlist a neighbor and a dolly to get the furniture into our house for assembly. Not happy about that! The boxes are big and heavy but the actual furniture inside the boxes was meticulously packed. Great engineering by someone in Indonesia. Bottom line, very pleased with the purchase but some bumps along the way in the sales and delivery process. Furniture looks nicer in person than it does in the pictures.
