Before I start, Brushy Mt Bee’s have always given me quality products at affordable prices. Their location is great for me as we are in the same state. At first I was told large super was out of stock. Called them was told it was in stock and shipped which it was. Just wish I would have ordered it unassembled, looked like it was slapped together at last minute. Joints we not good. Took me longer to fix than if I would have constructed myself. Only problem I’ve had with them, I will continue to be a customer, all in all a great co.

Great product...this is my 5th hive (4…

Great product...this is my 5th hive (4 from Brushy, 1 from a competitor because Brushy did not have product to ship quickly) and I'm just a first year beekeeper. This last order...timely, shipped quickly, arrived on time. BUT...at the time of order, I clarified that all ordered parts for complete 8-frame hive were there and available (stand, screened bottom board, 2 deep bodies, 1 medium super, 2 hive top feeders, top cover and telescopic cover...plus Hipps Swarm catcher, other items). On order receipt, was disappointed to find that all the deep hive frames were backordered and I have no idea when to arrive. Ordered the hive because "all on hand" but that was not the case....and anticipating a swarm or split shortly. The hive products though ARE the best I've seen...will NOT go back to the other vendor again as, clearly, the Brushy Mtn items are best quality and value.

Got my products alright and they came quickly enough. However, since I pay shipping, I wish they'd use a cheaper alternative. My shipping actually cost more than me items

I have only ordered one time. I was very happy with the fast service and great products. The delivery was fast, although the cost of delivery was very expensive.

Quality and fit of hives and frames are better than most.

Back order hell

Items originally ordered on 4/27 had several back orders. I was told that they would be in stock in 10 days and that the total order would be shipped then. Almost a month and 2 phone calls later I was told that they were still out of stock in PA and that the items would be shipped from NC. Clearly the locations do not coordinate, and had I not been following up I would still be waiting. They place shipping costs (it qualified for free shipping) over customer service. Bee keeping is a time sensitive activity and customers need to be kept informed and items delivered quickly. If you can't do so, then let the customer know! Don't make them keep calling to find out what's going on. I will not be placing orders for back ordered items in the future. Brushy Mountain does not have the systems to coordinate between locations or with customers. You need only look to LLBean as an example of how it should be done.

Your staff are very helpful. I can't order online, because your default shipping is UPS, and I live in Alaska. I need to get shipped USPS.
