Ordered a lg mason bee package

Ordered a lg mason bee package, order was charged to my credit card. Approx. 5days later a package arrived with my bees only and a letter stating mason bee house is on back order and will arrive in 2-3 weeks. After a month later and receiving my credit card statement for the full package we called inquiring about the rest of the order. We were told the package had been shipped and already delivered. Told the customer representative we were home on the day specified and no package arrived. She stated that she would need to contact ups to check into delivery. She called me back about 5 minutes later saying she looked at the wrong date and that they were out of the house and she would need to contact her distributors in PA. Called me back the following Tuesday to let me know a house was being shipped. When asked about reshipping new bees, she stated they were out of those. We were very excited about starting the bee colony, but just as we feared, after hanging the house upon its arrival and adding the bees, we still have no sign of any activity. Why would you ship live bees with no house to get them started. We are very disappointed with this turn of events.

I recently bought bee packages and wax

I recently bought bee packages and wax. I went to Brushy Mountain to pick them up. I enjoyed walking through the store and bought some additional items ( wax sheets) and the experience as always was enjoyable and the employees there very helpful. Keep up the great work and keep supporting us beekeepers.

Getting Customer Service Support A Chore

Getting customer service support for a recently purchased Hive Scale was difficult. Never got to speak to a live person — even after multiple calls. Emails were not returned. To start, there was a significant time delay between ordering the product online and actually receiving it. Once received, the installation instructions included with the product were for a previous version of the hive scale, and didn’t include instructions for using iOS devices to read the scale. The Hive Scale itself was shipped with an outdated firmware version which added to the confusion and difficulty troubleshooting. Ultimately, my installation issues with this product were solved by the SolutionBee, the product’s manufacturer.
