Forcing overpriced finance on…
Forcing overpriced finance on overpriced cars. Every salesman and woman that I've met only wants to sell you finance. I tried to buy cars for cash and I've been laughed at because they don't get commission.

Hidden "Admin" Fees: Their search engine often displays cars with the lowest upfront prices. However, when you contact the dealership, you discover hundreds of pounds in mandatory undisclosed admin fees, valeting fees, or warranty cross-sells that were hidden in the fine print."Ghost" and Out-of-Date Listings: The site is notorious for leaving sold vehicles live on the platform for weeks to act as clickbait. You enquire about a car marked as a "Great Deal," only for the dealer to say it sold ages ago but try to pivot you to a much more expensive alternative.Flawed Valuation Algorithm ("Overpriced" vs. "Great Deal"): Their pricing algorithm evaluates cars based on basic details like model and mileage. It completely ignores high-value optional extras, factory upgrades, or immaculate vehicle history reports. This forces clean, highly spec'd cars to be flagged unfairly as "Overpriced," while mispricing baseline or damaged cars as a "Great Deal".Deceptive Dealer Practices: Some dealers artificially lower prices on the app to trick the algorithm into a "Great Deal" tier, then force you into high-interest, non-negotiable finance packages on-site to make up their margin
The seller brought from failed to give my 3 months warranty. I believe the car had a false mot as I took rhe csr straight away to a test and tyre center and they said the 2 front tyres where illegal. Wheels and tyres where stap painted over original colour and after 1 wash, paint came off. Windscreen was light was on when brought which also should of been mot failure. Turns out it needs replacing as it has a leak. I had to uy 2 new tires for the safety of my children and the seller wasnt even interested. Should be removed from this site for fraudulent.
I gave car gurus my information like the email address and other and then I realised they don't protect people's information because from that day I received a disturbing e mail from hackers
It’s guide on prices are very helpful with Great Price, Fair Deal and Higher Price so you get a better idea of the going dealership price for the vehicle you are interested in.
They had the right car at the right price. And I could easily get finance as an option
Great communications from the office to the Great guy who came to pick up the car received payment within the hour no hassle
I was looking for a first car on CarGurus and I found a car from a garage called Assured Cars Supermarket located at Stoney Lane Balsall Heath B12 8AF . I travelled to them asked if everything was fine or if anything would need doing to it in the near futer and I was told no . I left a £200 deposit and came back a few days later. The guy got the car out for me and said it had been cleaned which it was fairly clean but had spider web on the mirror and still not very clean . The screen for the car wasn't working he said it just stopped working so he said he has just orderd a new 1 . I started to drive home and my partner following me in her car noticed the drivers side brake light wasn't working . I phoned the garage and agreed to return the next day to fix it. So that happend and I noticed the engine coolant was really dirty . It had a head gasket replacement or worked on and they never bothered to flush the dirty oily water out so i asked them they did that but it was still dirty. I flushed the system 4 times to get it clean . The engine light came on about a week later . I took it to the garage they said the turbo wasn't working they said come back so I did that waited all day they took the turbo off and said they was waiting for the part. Then they said the turbo was actually working so they put it back on . I was told the mechanic was coming because the engine light was still on and all they did was clear the code and say its fixed. The engine light came back on about 5 miles down the road. Each time I travelled to the garage it cost me £8 for a stupid clean air zone plus the fuel . They have said they have sent the logbook but I still havnt recieved it after almost 2 months I only had the green new keeper slip. About 3 weeks after owning the car it broke down and comes up engine and gearbox fault . Now I have had to get a new clutch and a gearbox off ebay plus getting it recovered to a garage . Now iv got to get it taken to the main peaugot dealership to program the gearbox all at my expense after paying for the car . Absolutely disgusted from what's happend and when I asked for a refund they didnt acknowledge it . Definitely be careful where you buy a car from.
My phone security warned me that my info had been found on the dark Web, and CarGurus was the source. Do not give this company your personal information.
