1. The sandals were not "defective" – they were custom‑made to your chosen size, and you later said they did not fit. That is a sizing preference, not a manufacturing defect.
2. We did not ignore your emails. We replied promptly on Whatsapp.
3. We did not refuse a resolution. We offered to remake the shoes, we are processing the return and exchange , but you filed a chargeback before we could proceed. Once a chargeback is filed, the bank refunds your money, and we cannot ship a replacement without a new order. We proposed that you place a new order and we would expedite production – you declined.
4. We are a 30+‑year brand with thousands of satisfied customers. We stand behind our quality and service. We regret this situation, but we cannot accept being labelled "scammers" when we have acted in good faith throughout.
We remain open to a fair solution. If you wish to cancel the chargeback and work with us, we will still expedite a new pair for you.

**Mixed feelings.**
First of all, the shoes are shipped from China, although the customer service is friendly and responsive. Depending on your country, you may also have to pay additional customs clearance fees, which could be around $10–20.
Also, keep in mind that the shoes do not provide as much height as advertised.
I bought two pairs. The first pair, a pair of sneakers advertised as adding **7 cm**, actually adds about **4.5–5 cm**. That said, these sneakers are incredibly comfortable, very lightweight, and feel great to wear, you almost forget you have them on. They just don't deliver the promised height.
The second pair was a pair of derby shoes advertised as adding **9 cm**. They add around **6 cm** (allowing for a measuring error of about 0.5 cm). However, they are quite heavy, and the internal lift creates a steep incline, making them feel more like you're wearing heels.
So, the sneakers are very comfortable but don't provide the advertised height, while the derby shoes give a bit more height but are still far from the claimed 9 cm and are much less comfortable.
Overall, I'm not sure how to feel. At around **$150 per pair**, I expected the advertised height claims to be more accurate. If they were about half the price, I would probably be very satisfied.

Buyer beware: Returning or exchanging these shoes can cost you around $100.
I paid $181+ for a pair of boots. To return them, I had to pay over $80+ to ship them back to China via USPS with tracking, and my refund excluded taxes and shipping insurance. My total loss was nearly $100.
If I had known this return policy, I would not have purchased $181 boots from this company. Unless you’re 200% sure you’ll keep the shoes, think twice before ordering. The company should clearly disclose before checkout that returns require shipping to China at the customer’s expense.

This is my 2nd order from Chamaripa. Jessica went again over and above and beyond and help me get some sneakers. I think I will order some dress shoes down the road, but it may be awhile. The shoes are on the expensive side for a big guy size 13 but they're great and they do really add 2 inches, and however they built the sole you can hardly notice. Got the 11 cm shoes and it’s 100% legit, I wasn’t sure even tho I researched the brand fully that the advertised claim would be true but after trying it for 3-4 days I can confirm it is one of the best purchases I’ve done. I feel 10x confident, the heel on the lower end of the shoe is completely normal so no one even assumes it’s elevated at all unless you’re in shorts at worst. Customer support was very helpful and I hope to continue purchasing their new products.
