I had a terrible experience with CheapTickets and want to warn others. I paid for a ticket change on January 12, 2025, at 1:22 AM (SG time), expecting my updated e-ticket to be processed quickly. However, CheapTickets only issued the revised ticket on January 13, 2025, at 8:00 PM—too late for me to use it.
When I arrived at the airport, the airline staff confirmed that CheapTickets had not updated my ticket. Because of this, I had no choice but to board my original flight, and all my connecting tickets were reissued when I was at Las Vegas airport. Since I never used the new ticket they issued, I immediately contacted CheapTickets at 10:47 AM on January 12, 2025, explaining the situation and requesting a refund.
Despite this clear mistake being on their end, CheapTickets refused to refund me, even though I provided all the proof:
✅ Payment confirmation
✅ Delayed ticket issuance (almost 2 days late!)
✅ Original ticket used instead of the new one
✅ Proof that the airline staff confirmed no update was made to my booking
Their customer service was completely unhelpful, repeating the same excuse that they "can't process refunds," even though this was their fault. I wasted my money due to their slow processing and lack of responsibility.
⚠️ If you need to change your ticket, DO NOT trust CheapTickets! Their system is unreliable, and they do not take responsibility for their own mistakes. I will never use them again.

The ticket booked on your site didn't give me access to the airline website for checkin!…
The ticket booked on your site was my flight from dfw to sin. It invoked American airlines & Japan airlines. The booking code you gave me only works on the Japan airline website & NOT THE AMERICAN AIRLINE WEBSITE. So I could only confirm my seats & checkin on part of my flight..... and the most important part (the longest sector) i can't even access to checkin or pick my seat. That's really bad!!
You should know your airlines and have the right code for each that is separate!! So they actually work!

There is a hidden price charging for the master card but not the visa one. Once user enter the card details, there is no charged included which is misleading. One when user click onto the small information link could see extra charge would be applied. It acts like a scam! If you charge differently, either pop up the extra charge windows or reflect the charge into the payment amount.
I called immediately after the booking to cancel the flight as I was getting a cheaper rate after 5 mins on CheapTickets but I was asked that booking cancellation charges of CheapTicket will be $138 per person which is 80% of my flight cost

My experience with Cheaptickets.sg has been nothing short of infuriating and downright suspicious. Every time I contacted their live chat or email about the status of my refund for a rescheduled flight, they gave me the same lame excuse: "We are still checking with the airline." What exactly is there to check that takes over a week? This was a legitimate reschedule by the airline with no disputes involved.
When I reached out to Jetstar directly via live chat, they confirmed that the refund could be processed immediately. Even as an individual, I could have handled it on my own if not for their policy requiring the refund to go through Cheaptickets.sg, the original payment method. Yet, a supposedly professional, registered company like Cheaptickets.sg couldn’t manage to do this simple task? Instead, they kept stalling, and here I am, more than a week later, with the refund still pending.
I highly suspect that they aren’t even checking with the airline and are purposely dragging this matter in the hopes that I’ll eventually give up and let it go. Well, mark my words: I will not let this slide. I will pursue every possible avenue to recover my money.
This experience is a clear red flag and feels like a scam. Save yourself the frustration and avoid booking through Cheaptickets.sg at all costs. They lack professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service. Once they have your money, you’re on your own.
