Just makes me puke,.. last year has so much errors. Deposits lagging, transactions lagging, withdrawals pending, lagging, getting cancelled. Fk u coinbase..after 10 years I move to Kraken, and hope to never deal with Coinbase again.

Calling this a "crypto exchange" is an insult to technology; it is a parasitic, brittle, broken casino that intentionally pulls the plug the exact second the stakes get high. The architecture is built like a cheap house of cards held together by duct tape and prayers. The microsecond the market turns volatile—the ONE moment a financial app actually needs to function—the whole infrastructure completely shits the bed. You’re hit with instant 504 server crashes, grayed-out action buttons, and a catastrophically incompetent front-end that routinely displays a $0.00 portfolio balance because its developers were too lazy to code a basic fallback state for API timeouts. You are locked outside the vault while your assets burn, completely helpless to buy, sell, or pull your funds out. And when their garbage software inevitably crashes? Prepare to enter the infinite purgatory of Coinbase "Customer Support." There are no humans here—just a Kafkaesque nightmare of automated phone trees, brainless bots telling you to "restart your router" while your life savings are frozen, and a support ticket system designed explicitly to ignore you until you surrender. Submit your ID? Rejected by a blind algorithm in three seconds, booting you into a 30-day account lock loop. For any engineering or product design class: this isn't just a bad app, it is a masterclass in anti-user design, catastrophic backend failure, and corporate hostility. A pure, unadulterated dumpster fire. Avoid like the plague.

The worst exchange ive ever used

The worst exchange ive ever used. They dont honor the contracts you buy on the derivitives account. For example, If you purchase 10 contracts on 10xleverage (leverage they set btw) and you leave the trade open and they switch to "weekend leverage" they close your positions and change your leverage to a lower amount. If you dont have the money in your futures account to cover the cost of this change in leverage then they just liquidate your positionsand your stuck with fewers contracts at a lower leverage. If i purchase a contrat i expect the specifics of that contract to be upheld until the contract is closed. Then theres the whole deal with having to wait 48hrs for their clearing house (which is seperate from coinbase itself) to clear and release your funds so you can transfer them away from this godawful platform. Its like they purposly make it difficult to move your money around so you will feel pressured to stay on their platform, because if you have to wait 2 days for your funds to be available to trade then you will miss out on so many trade opportunities.

A nightmarish platform

Coinbase is like a toy platform. It imposes limitations for purchases with my credit card like 100€ a week, if the purchase can really be completed; otherwise you can pay with PayPal but Coinbase will lock your cryptocurrency for one week that you won't be able to retire. You can make an instant bank transfer as well but it won't show in days. Having to move from Binance in the EU to platforms like this is being a nightmare.
