DON'T put your money with Coinbase…

DON'T put your money with Coinbase unless you don't want access to your funds. I have been trying since APRIL to make a transfer and my account is LOCKED for transfers. I have contacted customer support multiple time - verified who I am multiple times - verified who I am sending it to multiple times and gotten NOWHERE. It makes me angry to hear the same thing each time I chat with customer support that they are escalating it. They do not allow the assignment of beneficiaries and that is a problem for estate planning. When you try to transfer because of estate planning, they lock your account for transfers. They will of course allow you to do anything that makes them money - like buy or sell. RIDICULOUS!!!

I wouldn't have even given one star if I hadn't to this place is a scam take my word for it don't put your money in there it's a big hustle I learned the hard way I hope you don't either I don't see how there's so many good reviews on this when they take after funds they bill you for everything just take my word for it don't don't mess with these guys they're terrible it's disgusting that's how bad it is

Coinbase is Scam

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how Coinbase has handled my situation. Over a month ago, I deposited a substantial amount of money with them, but shortly afterwards my account was suspended without any clear explanation. My money is still sitting in my Coinbase account, but at this stage it feels completely useless because I have no way to access or withdraw it. I cannot add a new bank account because deposits are disabled, and the bank account I originally used is no longer available. After many attempts to get support, someone from Coinbase finally contacted me and promised to personally help, even suggesting a live conversation to resolve the issue. I felt reassured, but then they disappeared and stopped responding despite several follow-up messages. I am now extremely worried and unsure what to do. The lack of communication and inability to access my own funds is making me feel like this could be a scam. Has anyone experienced something similar with Coinbase and managed to resolve it?

Check id with AI is a no no- no Trust

I have an account for many years, but only used mostly 5 times to buy crypto, yet, i never transfered my cryptos to a cold wallet before and left always on the spot wallets of exchanges. This time as it today, i have acesss to my account, double verified with my email, triple verified with my phone number, quadrupled verifed with my bank account and yet my cryptos are held in the exchange because i have to verify my id because coinbase says that my account was possibly hacked and they are helding my cryptos in their exchange. Also i proceeded to verify my id with my id card , and it fails, proceed with my driving licence and it fails, tryed with my passaport and it fails…. Simply because they use AI to verify and it fails miserably. Called support 3 times they say that can’t do nothing, even with all my ids, camera etc.. For me this is against my will of having my cryptos on my cold wallet, as they held deliberately. This is a no no for me. If they want me to check me, my id, and my account just call me or something because this is inadmissible.

⚠️ COINBASE SCAMMED ME ⚠️

⚠️ SCAM WARNING ⚠️ I was scammed by Coinbase website. Here are the details: TXID: 0x14628cf5338c0969eb96b6e374c1060bbb7a08eb24a4902db3a158db1c2389c6 COINBASE ADDRESS: 0x7e3649c05aE861235E9810e034986AeB217164ac I deposited $3,000 worth of BTC to their exact address. No mistake on my end Then they told me the funds went to a "wrap" and that I needed to pay $144 in recovery fees to Coinbase to get it back. This is a classic scam tactic , they take your money, then demand more to "recover" it.. The $144 is just theft. This was my first deposit and I deeply regret opening an account with them. They refused to refund me and said the only option was paying the $144. PLEASE RUN. DO NOT open an account with COINBASE. TO NOT pay any recovery fees . I'M STILL AWAITING A SOLUTION FROM THEM

Counbase support is a joke

I cannot for any reason see why Coinbase has a 4.5 star review. Maybe they haven’t had to deal with customer service. I have been having issues…. No problems for 3 months with Customer service and still cannot trade on the app or online. Just getting help from customer service is feat in itself. Before you can talk to or chat with a live rep, which by the way is not in the UStouhave to deal with the AI bot. When you actually end up chatting to a live person, they end up throwing the steps to go through that the AI just presented to you rather than reading back and seeing what the problem is…. oh and forget about them having any IT experience because they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. So now I’m in limbo. I can deposit money into the account but I can’t trade and I cannot take it out and put it into my bank account. Beyond that, talking to anybody on the phone is almost impossible and talking to anybody on the phone in the US is totally not going to happen. I should know I’ve tried for the last three months and gotten no headway with these people. Now they said that there are specialist in the IT department are now on it and I should receive an email update in the next 3-5 days. I would suggest not going to Coinbase because if you end up with problems, your money is gonna be frozen and you’re not gonna be able to get to it and they’re going to make it problematic for you to try to obtain your funds. Do yourself a favor and walk away from Coinbase. There are other apps out there that are far better for customer service and easier to use.
