These folks have made our life easier. We have no donor software at present and we chose DP. They are knowledgeable, patient and professional. They are walking us through every step of the way. We couldn’t ask for more!!
The staff was very informative and helpful during our demo and onboarding stages. We considered several Donor Management Systems, but Donor Perfect felt like they knew what we were going through. Having QuickBooks and Constant Contact integrated into the platform was an added bonus.
Donor Perfect allows new users to have LIVE PHONE SUPPORT for the first 90 days - this is very rare in this sector, but very important to those not as computer savvy or used to "chatting with bots". Thank you.

Their merchant account, which runs on their servers, is now forcing anyone who uses their merchant services to run on a PCI server. You know how much that costs?! Better budget more than they tell you upfront because this hidden cost is going to kill you.

While it is true that we host the payments page in most cases, this does not exempt you from PCI compliance requirements. As of March 31, 2024, the PCI Council has expanded its compliance mandates, significantly impacting merchants. One key update now requires merchants who redirect to third-party hosted payment pages to conduct vulnerability scans every three months— a requirement that was previously unnecessary. This change addresses the growing risk of outdated security measures on merchant websites, which have led to compromised cardholder data. We understand that these new requirements may add a burden, but compliance is mandated by the card brands and the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Council. To support our merchants, we do not charge for our PCI compliance program, which assists in achieving compliance. However, a non-compliance fee applies if a merchant chooses to remain non-compliant. The underwriting department is alarmingly subpar, lacking the thoroughness and diligence expected in such a critical function. Their operations feel more like basic credit card processing masquerading as a sophisticated CRM, offering little value beyond surface-level functionality. This inefficiency led to a complete communication breakdown, causing significant delays, lost productivity, and missed revenue opportunities. The disjointed processes and lack of accountability underscore the systemic flaws within their approach. EDIT: Unfortunately, DonorPerfect cannot discuss the circumstances of my denial. Translation: their social media or customer relations team has no real answer to provide. While I’m not particularly concerned about the denial itself. I’ve already moved on to a more reliable service; the lack of transparency and accountability speaks volumes. If you’re looking for clarity and responsiveness in a donor management platform, you might want to look elsewhere. Good luck.

Explain the fee paid to Tech Soup for Donor Perfect. Send a receipt for confirmation of the order to the purchaser's email. Send training options for interfacing product with Intuit Quickbooks and training for end of year donor thank you notifications.
