Not True Barefoot Shoes & Frustrating Return Process
I recently purchased grounding, barefoot shoes from Earthing Harmony because they are heavily marketed as "barefoot style" footwear with a "wider toe box." Unfortunately, the shoes I received were incredibly narrow with a tight and constrictive toe box that does not meet the anatomical standards of actual barefoot footwear.
It has become incredibly frustrating to see brands like Earthing Harmony co-opt trendy buzzwords like "barefoot shoes" simply to drive online traffic and capitalise on a growing movement. They clearly have no genuine interest in understanding the anatomical requirements of barefoot footwear or providing a quality shoe that actually delivers those health benefits.
When I brought this up to their support team, they suggested I exchange the size or style for a more suitable one. However, based on the brand's own sizing, getting a proper barefoot fit is mathematically impossible for me. I wear a size 43 EU and require a 13.5 cm toe box width. Earthing Harmony's absolute widest toe box is only 12.1 cm, and that is on a size 50 EU. Simply sizing up would result in a shoe that is comically long while still remaining too narrow to allow for natural foot splay.
The customer service experience regarding my return has been just as disappointing. I requested a full refund and asked for the return handling fees to be waived, as the shoes are not as described. Earthing Harmony’s own return policy states that they will pay return shipping costs if a return is the result of their error. Despite the inaccurate "barefoot" product description, customer service refused to waive the handling fee or provide a prepaid return shipping label, stating that the fee is necessary to cover their operational costs.
Interestingly, they are more than happy to provide a prepaid shipping label and a $15 discount if you agree to an exchange, but they penalize you with handling fees if you want a refund for a poorly described product.
I strongly advise against buying these if you are looking for true barefoot functionality. The brand refuses to take accountability for their deceptive marketing and will charge you out of pocket to return a shoe that doesn't function as advertised.
I love my pair of new grounding sandals. They are so comfortable since the very first wear, they look great, and I love that I'm wearing an all-natural material shoe. I am so eager to get more pairs from Earthing Harmony! ♡

I love the feel and wear of this shoe. I prefer being barefoot but my feet are a little sensitive to rocks, so this is the perfect shoe that gives me the feeling of being barefoot. Also I had a knee revision in September of 2025 and have had problems rehabbing the knee. Being able the wear this shoe with my natural walking gait has improved my condition. Great shoes. After the benefits from my original purchase of the barefoot slide ons, I added the Huracha slide on and a pair of Chunka boots for fall. The feeling of being barefoot has given my knee rehab purpose.
Love love the shoes! I was looking for a comfortable work shoe that didn’t make my feet hurt. I found them! But they are so beautiful I have trouble wearing them for work in the garden. The toe box is perfect for my big toes to spread out. I will be purchasing more!
Received my awesome Barefoot Woven Slide In Huaraches Hazelnut Brown a few weeks ago! They were on back order because they’re so popular now but definitely worth the wait! I wear a size 6 1/2 women's and purchased a size 5 in Earthing Harmony. They were super comfortable right out of the box! The fit is perfect and they beautiful and well made! These are the only shoes I’ve been wearing since I got them! Thank you EH!
Some how I bought the wrong size shoes. I wanted to exchange them for the correct size. There is a restocking fee of 12.99 and I have to pay postage. So much for if you aren’t happy we will refund your money!

Unfortunately, the shoes have an awful odor. Moreover, I ordered a regular size as recommended, and it was far too small. I will not purchase from this company again.
I purchased the Earthing Harmony penny loafers in chestnut brown, and absolutely love them! They're a super professional looking barefoot shoe, very comfortable, and durable. I've been wearing them almost everyday for the last month!
I bought the Crossover Slide Ins-and I LOVE the product (I chose the sandals in a light brown). Beautiful work! You can see the craftsmanship as soon as y oh take them out of the box. They for beautifully and are SO comfortable. I have warm only them for the last few days because they feel like being barefoot with a protective soul. I fully recommend these sandals. Great buy.
I was nervous about purchasing from Earthing Harmony at first due to negative reviews I have heard. So I sent them a message to mention my concerns and they got back to me right away which gave me the confidence to purchase from them. So I went ahead and got the lace up boots and silver socks to wear with them. They were wonderful, fit great, seem to be great quality and very comfortable. They say to go around a size smaller then your normal size. I tried a half size down and they fit perfectly with and without socks. I have personally had a great customer service experience with them.

I have wide feet, sandals are difficult to find for my feet. These sandals are very comfortable, the leather is soft and the straps hit my feet at the right spots. I am very happy I finally have a pair of sandals I can wear with my dresses or casual summer clothes. I will be ordering another pair of Earthing Harmony shoes!
I recently purchased a pair of Grounding & Earthing Barefoot Long Boots from Earthing Harmony. These are the best boots I have ever worn! They are incredibly comfortable, surprisingly light, and feel very durable. I have very wide feet, so I typically have to buy one or two sizes larger than my actual foot size to get a good fit, but these boots are foot-shaped rather than shoe-shaped, so sizing-up wasn’t necessary. The leather conformed to the shape of my foot and fits like a glove without feeling tight or cramped. These boots also have a zipper on the side, making it easy to put them on and take them off without having to re-lace them constantly. I verified their grounding capabilities with a multimeter and can confirm they do indeed keep one grounded when standing on a conductive surface like grass or dirt.

I ended up using a boot stretcher with a leather spray to stretch the collar on my boots. They are easier to get on, but still a little difficult for me due to arthritis in my hands which diminishes my grip. Would it be possible to create boots with a zipper? I know that might not be possible but I think it would be a popular choice especially with an aging but still active population. Thanks!
Well, first off I ordered the wrong size, but couldn't contact them through email or phone within 5 minutes of ordering. When I did get a response (within 48 hours), I was directed to the refund site. To make a long story short, I found that site somewhat to more than somewhat confusing and frustrating. Continued with request for return and refund a few times, but was being contacted from customer service as I went along. I expressed my frustration with their return site and suggested a more simpler restructure of the site. Received a very pleasant response with them telling me they will pass suggestion along. I loved the shoes, but found the top leather a little to stiff for my bunion area. All in all, I will more than likely order again in the future. Customer service was very helpful and gracious.
Purchased a sheet that was promoted to get a free mat and received the sheet but not the mat. Emailed the company, got a response saying they will ship the mat but after 4 weeks, Jessel or whatever the useless individual never ship the mat. Dont recommend. Honestly not sure why we purchased the sheet again, sorta useless. Rather get silk or just walk barefoot on clean grass, it’s free, No hassle for dealing with useless people.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Earthing harmony did not send a grounding detector, so I had to buy one of my my own to even test the outlet. Then discovered I couldn’t use the sheets because of the outlet not being grounded. They deduct fees from your return amount and don’t even send a return label. They make you take photos before even considering a return. This is a scam and a horrible business. It's not worth the stress and hassle. If you buy shoes or anything else and they don’t fit you will be in the hole with the money you spent.
I love these shoes. My feet are thanking me and saying, what took so long. It's like walking in nature and feeling a massage on my feet with every step I take.
Great selection of sandals and they are well constructed and comfortable. I love the way they look and feel on. Order was processed in a timely manner and received within two weeks. Pricey but if they last long time then they are worth it to me.
