Don’t use this platform to sell anything
First time seller and couldn’t have a worse experience. After my product got sold I couldn’t buy a label as free sellers can’t post items heavier than 22 kilograms. Why do they allow you to list it in the first placed, how on earth would I know it? As a honest person, I spoke to eBay support and was advised to send the item using my own courier since the buyer made the payment and as soon the product was delivered they would release the funds. Product is now delivered and now support has another history am saying as a free seller I have to use eBay to send items. What ? Now I don’t have the product, have a positive review from the buyer, have tracking numbers and etc to proof and can’t even mark the product as delivered. EBay support still refuse to release my funds as for the eBay system, my product is still pending for delivery and absolutely no one can change that, not even support. How’s terrible is that ? I still hope I will get my money back, it’s a good amount of money, not a type of money you would ignore.

How to drive users away.
Absolutely ridiculous forcing people to upload photo IDs now.
My Account is 10 years old and has nothing but positive reviews but now I suddenly need to vErIfY mY iDeNtItY.
As if phone numbers, addresses and banking information isn't enough already.
Ebay search is also broken constantly and returns XXX number of results but shows none of them.
Once I have obtained the money for my last sale, I will close my account. What a Joke.

Shitty website to do business on
Shitty outfit to do business on. Doesn't matter if you are the buyer or seller. I take pride in getting things I sell to the post office within 1 day. When you can't even contact anyone from Ebay it's frustrating as hell. They make it easy for shitty sellers to late ship items and even lie to the buyer. Ripoff outfit in my eyes. They overcharge to sell things. And by far the worst is the lack of any help.

STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!
STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!
I bought an item on Ebay that never got delivered, and since the Postal office wrote that they FAILED to deliver package, Ebay conciders it as delivered. So the seller keeps the money, and the item if it comes back to him.
WHERE THE F IS THE FAIRNESS HERE? HOW CAN SELLER KEEP BOTH THE MONEY AND THE ITEM? HOW IS THIS CONCIDERED A DONE DEAL FOR EBAY?
Ebay literally throws it under the rug and moves on.. absolutely disgusting.
Misleading return information and terrible customer service
I have been an eBay customer for years, but this has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I purchased an item as a guest using the same email address as my existing eBay account. However, eBay never linked the order to my account, so it still does not appear in my Purchase History. Because of this, I cannot leave feedback for the seller. Every time I try to access the order through links in eBay's emails, I receive a "Something went wrong" error.
The seller's listing was also misleading. The return details displayed a return cost of £3.59 and the location as "Liverpool, China". However, when I needed to return the item, I was told I had to pay the international return postage myself. Instead of resolving the issue, the seller first offered a 10% refund if I kept the item, then asked what I considered to be a fair solution, and finally offered a 30% refund while still expecting me to pay for the international return. The seller repeatedly emphasised their own business costs rather than providing a fair solution.
I reported the listing because I believed the return information was misleading. My report was rejected by an AI system without any meaningful investigation. I reported it again on 19 July and, a week later, I still have not received any response.
My experience with eBay customer service was equally disappointing. Different representatives gave conflicting information, one representative ended the call instead of helping me, and another claimed they could not even see that I had just spoken to a colleague minutes earlier. I also submitted a formal complaint about the way my case was handled.
After spending many hours trying to resolve this issue, nothing has been fixed. My order is still not linked to my account, I still cannot leave feedback for the seller, my reports remain unresolved, and I continue to receive automated emails asking me to leave feedback that your own system prevents me from submitting.
I expected much better from a company the size of eBay. This experience has shown poor customer service, poor complaint handling, and a system that repeatedly failed at every stage.
EBay is not a safe platform for sellers. I am
Out of pocket by £175 after I used the shipping QR code provided by Ebay. The parcel went missing and never got delivered, no fault of my own as I posted the item and the tracking shows the items was posted and is now with the courier.
Ebay were useless to protect me - even though they advertise their service as worry free and they will handle everything if the item is lost. But they fail to apparently show you that the refund amount is only £25 and no way during the sale process you are given the opportunity to buy “extra insurance”.
The platform is silly, the numbers are ridiculous - everyone else uses their rival platform (and now I sort of understand why).
Ebay is finished and there is no safety there. Do not sell your items which are worth more than £25 on EBay’s platform. Vinted covers sales and purchases of up to £500 - it’s a no brainer.
I’m out of pocket now and I am not happy with being ignored over and over by their customer care team - who most of the time were notably unaware of their own system giving me the wrong or conflicting information.
Appalling company , thank god there are many other platforms to purchase from nowadays , EBay customer support is frankly non existent, my advice to anyone , don’t use , as a customer for over 20 years in the Old days E-BAY were really the only platform to buy and sell , but now there are choices and the need to use E-bay has thankfully gone .
I sold an item which isn't in stock. I wanted to cancel but I can't. Ebay demands a creditcard for 0,35 ct costs. I say I dont have this to add. It suggests me to get one.
I want to cancel my selling account.
Ebay already took the money from the customer. Suggests I pay it back myselfs.
Omg I want out. I kept getting answers from the same agent who's not helpful

Not the experience I hoped for
I gave this store a chance and came away disappointed. There were unexpected charges at checkout that weren't clearly explained upfront. I won't be rushing back after this one.

I purchased a AD 500 from…
I purchased a AD 500 from Topdonofficial on 4/28. Takes 5-7 Days to get, I open it, battery is dead, charge it. It will not hold a charge, contact seller, he says give it time to charge multiple times. Nope still won’t hold a change, stayed in contact with seller and requested a refund of replacement. After 7-10 days of back and forth he agrees to replace it once he receives the bad one, another 7-10 days before this exchange happens. I finally receive the replacement, it is the same way, again I contacted the seller, he plays the same game, give it time. Three weeks later it will not turn on at all. Two weeks of constant emails back and forth, seller says your past the 30 day return policy. Contact EBay, they denied a refund. Do the math fools, you can see the time and transaction.THERE ARE SELLERS ON EBAY THAT ARE SELLING ITEMS THAT DO NOT WORK AND THEY KNOW IT, THEN THEY WANT A 20% RESTOCKING FEE FOR RETURNS, THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY. EBAY IS SUPPORTING IT.

The agents are helpful but getting one a challenge
The agents are helpful and usually knowledgable, but getting to one is difficult. An agent gave me a special phone number to call to avoid the roundabout but AI answers the call and doesn't understand your issue and then hangs up on you. Called three or four times and got the same recording. It's enough to send you to etsy.

Bought 2 rear light fittings for my car…
Bought 2 rear light fittings for my car from EU Autoparts on eBay that turned out to be faulty, I reported back to the seller that they were faulty and provided the proof that they asked for, the seller accepted they were faulty and said to return the fittings for a full refund. I returned the fittings, provided proof of delivery and now the seller has stopped answering any messages.
There is absolutely no help on eBay after the return period, even though the seller requested I return the faulty goods and they now have the fittings and my money!!
Robbed of my money for not only the parts but now the return postage also, NO help on eBay website for this type of situation!
There is no customer service. There is no email address. It is difficult to talk to a human to get your problem solved. The company is run by stingy people with a skeleton crew.
The buyer can leave a negative feedback for the seller. However, the seller cannot leave a negative feedback for the buyer. The buyer can respond to the feedback in a couple of sentences, Cannot explain in detail, cannot attach files to justify the seller's position.
I hope someone starts a competing business without the drawbacks of Ebay.

I purchased a air conditioner, a generator that can't even boil a jug, selling pitch itcanrun 8 items and fail boiling a jug.
