The Bewley's of IRELAND, Irish Cream Coffee that I purchased is just awful. Any hint of smell or taste of Irish Cream is just not there. I was very disappointed and want a full refund. I brewed one pot and set it aside for the poor taste.

To be fair, I had used this company years ago with good results, and I probably would have been happy if UPS hadn't lost my package. Here's what happened: I placed my order, it was shipped, great. Everything looks normal and fine. Then, UPS loses the package. According to the tracking page, it went "out for delivery" in different state and didn't update for nearly two weeks. Because of the way it was shipped, I can't file a claim with UPS, so I contact the merchant. I explain everything. Customer care just tells me not to worry because it's out for delivery. I email again, explaining--again--why there is a problem, and it gets escalated. Finally, they admit it's lost and ask if I want a reshipment or a refund. At this point, a reshipment was neither useful nor even feasible, so I asked for a refund. They get back to me saying great! We'll process the reshipment ASAP. This was after a week of trying to get it fixed through customer care and nearly three weeks after the order was placed. In the end, I just gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company. So, yeah. They're probably fine as long as nothing goes wrong, but I'd rather not take that chance.

I have been happily ordering difficult to find items from The English Tea Store for quite a few years now, ordering unfamiliar items as well as established favorites, and have never had reason to regret using this site. One thing that really stands out by comparison with other online businesses is the quality of the packing : Everything safe and secure from every angle ( bottom, sides, top of box ). When calling to place an order, patience and courtesy mark every experience . Other retailers can learn much from English Tea Store's customer service .

our experience was great. we bought tea cups for a project we were doing english tea store our order was right on time a couple had gotten broken thru the mail and they made it right and sent us two new ones on good time also. I would buy from them again.
