What people say

If I could give them 0 stars

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I signed up for a policy, and ending up getting better coverage, so I called to cancel my policy. When I got to the "AI representative," and put in my info including my SSN and DOB, it said I didn't have an active policy (I did this on chat and on the phone). Fast forward a month, I get a reminder about my payment. I disregarded it, figured it didn't sync. Soon after I got an email saying my payment method needed to be changed. At this point I called and the first HUMAN I spoke to also said I had no policy, again, providing my SSN and DOB. I got ANOTHER email about my payment method and called yet again. They "found" my policy using different info, somehow including a phone number I had 30 years ago (I still have no clue how - I hadn't remembered that number until they read it to me). Anyway, they had charged me already, twice, and wouldn't reimburse me. They said I initiated the policy, which I did and I'm not refuting, and when I called, they said I didn't have one. Please tell me how I'm supposed to know it's in the wrong system if their own staff couldn't tell me? They continue to try to tell me I initiated the policy and refuse to reimburse me. Horrible experience.

It’s a scam they promote higher…

It’s a scam they promote higher insurance coverage for only accidental death but they don’t tell you this upfront. If you die from the most common causes of death the coverage is lower. You only hear about until you pay the first premium when you are initially accepted. I decided it was a scam and requested a refund and was told would receive it in 24 hours. It’s been over 2 months still nothing. They sent a bogus email with a fake AI number when you call it no response.
