Disappointed! Bad surprise!
Farehutz advertised a great deal for plane tickets, around $200 per ticket. I was excited to find that deal! After purchasing tickets to get the deal, I was notified that the deal was no longer available for us. The best of the options I was offered was around $400 per ticket that required us to leave out of a less convenient airport. I felt like I had been trapped to spend more money so that I would not lose the money I had already paid out, supposedly for the cheaper tickets. Because of this experience I will not be using Farehutz again or recommending them. I will be looking for a company who lists deals that they will stick to when I buy a ticket from them.
I will say that Catalina was very patient to help me through refiguring my flight plans and paying out more money for the more expensive tickets. Bob was also kind in his call with some more details for me.

Bait and Switch Pricing
Bait and Switch pricing. I input my credit card info and had to wait for 30 minutes while the Farehutz site said "in process". Then I received a phone call and was told the price had gone up since the only seats available were in the main cabin. I told them I wanted to cancel and I was told my ticket was non-refundable even though the price I was initially quoted was under $200 and the new price was $469. They said the airline had already charged my credit card. Is that legal ? I found Farehutz on Trivago. I won't use Trivago again either since they are associated with this company. Total Scam.
