Initially approved and then ultimately declined. Disappointing.

Figure said I was approved for an HELOC initially and it would take a few days. The app and website made it look like I had not completed steps I had done. I called in and was told by an automated entity that my part was completed and they were doing the Title review. About 8 days went by. Then I got an email saying they had finished the Title review, I would sign via eNotary and receive funds. I then received another email (sent less than a minute later) that the application was declined, based on my credit (seemingly unrelated to the Title review). I’m VERY disappointed. They knew my credit when I applied since I did this through Credit Karma (aka Figure). Why bother!!

The process was easy

The process was easy, from start to finish, and didn't take long. The only glitch was with the eNotary, where I had to scan my driver's license with my phone's camera. When you do so (and this happened also with my husband's eNotary experience), the iPhone generates a pop-up that blocks the Submit button. There needs to be a better way. All in all, however, I'm grateful for the excellent and quick service!
