It's a scam! Process takes days/weeks, NOT 5 minutes!!! It is always something else that needs to be documented or explained, going in circles. I needed extra funds for a short time period, for quick home improvements. My credit score was at the top of the chart, nothing derogatory, excellent payment history, and tons of equity built in my property. They turned me down. Good luck!

I had an outstanding experience with Figure from start to finish. The entire HELOC process was surprisingly fast, simple, and almost completely online. Their website is extremely easy to use, with a clean interface that walks you through every step without making things confusing. What impressed me the most was that they don't waste your time asking for information they can verify themselves. Instead of making you dig through piles of paperwork or answer endless repetitive questions, they securely pull much of the information they need, which makes the application process incredibly smooth and efficient. The approval process moved much faster than I expected, and I always knew where I was in the process thanks to their clear status updates. Everything felt modern, streamlined, and designed around the customer instead of creating unnecessary work. If you're looking for a HELOC and want to avoid the typical hassle of traditional lenders, I would absolutely recommend Figure. They made what I expected to be a stressful process quick, straightforward, and surprisingly easy.
Appraised wrong house! Took them almost 3 weeks to do a "drive by valuation" and then they DID THE WRONG HOUSE -- despite the house number being on the front of the house and on the mailbox...they did another house on the same street. Then came back with an INSULTING offer -- which only made sense once I realized it WAS THE WRONG HOUSE. Well good because you all are a clown show. Also, there is NO WAY TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT and their TOS says they have the right to retain your information indefinitely. Yes, I feel soooooooo safe with a company that can't even read an address on a door and a mailbox. EVEN ZILLOW shows the CORRECT house! DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE! ((they sent the appraiser back out an he doesn't want to admit the mistake -- claims "he did the right house just attached the wrong photo" -- but the description of the house -- 2beds/1bath -- doesn't MATCH my property which is 3 beds/ 3.5 baths and has a large metal shop building on the property also -- basically their "appraisal" wouldn't even cover the shop building)) . --- and then Figure replies to this and tells me to contact them...without leaving a contact number to a real person and says they can't find my account after they asked for my name/phone number and I provided it. Kinda makes you wonder HOW MANY of these incorrect appraisals there are if they can't find MINE with my last name and phone number.
