What people say

Athens - Delhi - Bangkok

I flew from Athens, Greece through Delhi to Bangkok and had such a pleasant experience. The food was good and service was exceptional. Smooth flight and was on time. I would like to compliment Team 6E 1902 and Mercy for their teamwork and professionalism, and for making my journey comfortable from start to finish.

Sweetest Flight Attendants

I had a layover in between two flights with IndiGo, and though I didn't feel very at ease on the first flight. (was a bit rocky and the attendants seemed on edge), the second leg of it was lovely— I was nervous to be on such a long journey (9 hours), but it was so smooth. Didn't expect to be able to connect to entertainment on my phone to watch movies along the way, which was great. Some incredibly tasty food too, which I appreciated (two meals along the way). The flight attendants were the true stars— incredibly sweet and reassuring. Thank you to Kopal and the other lovely folks that made it such a pleasant experience with your good energy!

Using plan B

I had to contact Indigo today after being told by my agent that my flight had been cancelled and there was no suitable replacement. I took it on myself to look for a replacement, via Plan B,and IndiGo were very easy to reach out to and sorted the problem, I now have better flights than I’d originally booked.

Well attended 👏

I was travelling internationally via Virgin Atlantic with my husband on 30th March and was attended by a girl in check in at dabolim Airport vasco via indigo. Her name was sneha parsley she said, her overall experience was really good and helpful was well attending ,respectful and I liked her spirit. Good luck 👍to her and may indigo always have genuine people working at all times to help customer service making customers comfortable at all times thanks

The services was fabulous.

The services was fabulous. The ladies made us feel very comfortable and interacted really well. Very polite. Patient. Lovely to see Happy staff on board. We met the pilot who we had a joke with. Definitely will fly with Indigo again if this is the services we receive. We had plenty of water. The entertainment was brilliant, no time to feel bored. This flight left Delhi Airport T3 at 20.10 pm on route to Heathrow Airport T3, on 9th April. Thank you Indigo Team🥰 IndiGo 6E003

Horrible handling of check in bags

My check in bag was horribly spoilt after the flight. The hull of my bag got broken and cracked to a point that I can't use the bag again. This is horrible way to treat check in baggage. The airline must be held responsible and better their services in this regard. Checkin bags are not safe with them.

Great Airline

Me and my colleagues in the UK use IndiGo when we travel internally within India for work (Indian based Company). Service has always been top notch, never had an issue with booking, the app or anything related to the travel experience itself. We flew Business Class between Chennai and New Delhi. Service was excellant from Ritika, who took care of us very well. The food was delicious in a box, had like a chicken roll and salad, muffin, some nuts and a drink. Been using them for a long time and will continue to do so, thanks again IndiGo!!

Meal denied on Indigo flight though paid for pre-flight

We flew from Kannur to Bali via Bengaluru on March 12 reaching Denpasar the next day by 10:30 AM. We bought an upgraded ticket that included seat selection, 25 kg, and complimentary meal. When it came to meal time on the BLR - DPS flight, the flight attendant said that the meal was not included. We told her we had paid for that. She dismissed that, rather indifferently, and asked if we wanted to purchase a meal. We thought that was "interesting". One of the other flight attendants politely, apologetically, offered us a meal that a fellow passenger did not use. We politely declined that offer as well. We just learned that Indigo does not deliver what we are charged for. So, I would think well, before making any upgrades on Indigo flights or choose another airline where possible.

Excellent Customer Service

I was having difficulty accessing my booking so contacted Indigo through the UKRes email address. The team, within 10 minutes, forwarded the query to the Customer Experience Team asking that they respond to my request for help. Srishti did, the same day, with all the information I needed. Excellent customer service, much appreciated.

7 month old snacks being served on Indigo flight..ShameLESS Airlines

Trip date:13th Mar'26. FLT 6E263(Indore-Mumbai)1310 departure. I am corporate customer and pre ordered meal ( which is never served on Indigo flights). I was shocked to see crew serving 7 month old 'Makhana ( white puffed seed of lotus flower)'under the garb of prepaid snacks. This was completely dry and tasteless. On bringing the matter to crew's notice, I was told that few months of expiry is still there. Travellers are paying for fresh refreshments on flight, not 7 month old stuff. Looks airline buys old food stocks at low price and serves on flights and make more margin, as fresh food will cost more. Shameless Low cost carrier. BEWARE GENERAL PUBLIC , NEXT TIME CHECK THE MFG AND EXPIRY DATE OF PRE PAID SNACK BEING SERVED ABOARD INDIGO FLIGHTS. YOU CAN FALL SICK BY CONSUMING 7 MONTH OLD SNACKS.

Thankyou Praveen

It’s not often that I have a positive experience with calling customer care but this morning I noticed a missed connection with my flight and was served by Praveen, such a gentleman! He guided me so efficiently with how I could amend my return flight home. Thankyou Praveen x

Extremely dissatisfied with Indigo

Extremely dissatisfied with Indigo. This was my third trip and getting more and more frustrated.. First trip was Istanbul to Mumbai where my seats were totally messed up with no efforts to help.. my younger dependant sister was pushed into 26D and I was assigned 6E.. major error but no effort to help. My second trip was Mumbai -Hyderabad where my seating and meals shattered.. Instead of non-veg full meals, given one plain sandwich (VEG).. with no snacks/drinks. On return flight, Hyderabad - Mumbai, inspite of booked for full meals, we were just given snacks and forced to check in our carry one bags because flight was full.. extremely unhappy with their customer service and arrogant attitude. No worth the price we pay

Your paid seat aboard IndiGo may not be yours.

31st January, 2026. PNR LYEPXD. Flight No. 6E 223, Bengaluru to Kolkata. After boarding, I reached my Seat No. 4A, which was a PAID SEAT, and it was found to have been occupied by another passenger. I drew the attention of a crew member. After talking to the occupant, she shifted me to Seat No. 18 F, though it was inscrutable why a PAID SEAT could be given away to another passenger. The crew member was , indeed suave, and inquired if I had been comfortable in the latter seat. I told her that Seat No. 4A was paid for and and I didn't understand why and how a Paid Seat could be given away to another passenger. I had had a similar experience on an international flight of IndiGo from Tbilisi a few years back. I wonder if it is a regular happening aboard IndiGo flights, and in future, I will have to think twice before taking any flight of the airline.

Charges Convenience fee to cancel even when it is their fault!

I wanted to book a flight from Mumbai to Birmingham UK on the App. However, when it came to filling in my details, I could not click Female (It remained Grey). I thought this might cause a problem so I called them and asked what I can do. The man said just book it and then call us and we will change it. So I booked the flight with the gender as Male and called them about an hour later. A female picked up this time and said that they can not change the gender and that I would have to cancel the flight. I asked if I would get a refund. She said yes, so I cancelled the flight. When I looked at my bank account, I had nearly a 1000 rupees less refund. I called them back again and highlighted this. I was told that a convenience fee of that amount cannot be refunded. I pointed out that I can understand this rule if it was my fault but that it was their fault why I had to cancel, so it seems like they are punishing me with a penalty for cancelling when it was their fault. I am very disappointed. Customer services in the past over the phone have been ok. Not too bad and hence the score of 3*

travelling with IndiGo but knowing that there may be unforeseen circumstances!

I flew twice with IndiGo in January/February 2026, round trip Istanbul-Mumbai. Before departing, I had read many negative reviews and was a little apprehensive. For this reason, I decided right away to book only one direct flight and then travel by bus. The IST-BOM flight went very well: punctual, smooth and the staff were friendly. Everything went smoothly! On the flight from BOM to IST, I experienced the situations I had read so much about in reviews: almost three hours' delay on departure (fortunately, most of it at the airport and about 1 hour of waiting on board) caused, according to what was said, by reaching the maximum capacity for hand luggage on board! Instead of starting boarding, they announced at the last minute that passengers travelling to Istanbul as an intermediate stop had to hand over their hand luggage, which would be sent separately directly to their final destination. This created a truly chaotic situation, in which we had to wait crowded in front of the gate, standing and patiently, without receiving any proper information. Once on board, we ended up flying with the Turkish Airlines crew...and the IndiGo crew sitting among the passengers like us. The trip went well, but it was very tiring. IndiGo is a low-cost airline, but it would have taken probably very little to improve the management of unexpected events and problems, at least with greater care and attention towards the passengers.

My IndiGo Mumbai–Delhi journey on 4–5…

My IndiGo Mumbai–Delhi journey on 4–5 December faced multiple cancellations and overnight delays, with final departure after a long airport wait. I raised a formal complaint and was informed that a ₹3,000 voucher would be issued, but it has still not been delivered. After nearly 2 months of follow-ups through email and AirSewa, the only response I received was a rejection stating my flight was not eligible under their “Gesture of Care” scheme. That does not address the pending compensation already promised. Very disappointed with the post-complaint resolution process.

Excellent check in staff

I was attended to by a gentleman at the check in counter on the night of 8th Feb for the early morning flight from.chennai to penang on/9th Feb 2.20 am.. Initially I didn't know this gentleman was not able to speak. Only later I realised he has difficulty to hear n speak.. But I must say he was so efficient , helpful and offered service with a smile.. I have not met anyone in my many experience of flying indigo like this gentleman.. Wonderful professional service and got things done in a jiffy... Kudos to him.. Tq Indigo for including special ability persons like him to be part of your team.. He is such an asset to your team and great model for his colleagues.. I forgot to jot down his name. Please convey my heartfelt gratitude to him. Thanks...
