Excellent Purchasing Experience

Replacement glass shades were perfectly described and measurements were exact so I knew what I was buying. The 3 glass shades were wrapped in bubble and paper in a box within a box so there was no movement and little chance of breakage in delivery. Ordering was easy, efficient and Grand Glass Lamp Parts has a plethora of replacement shades to choose from.

The "Good. the Bad and the Possible"

The "Good" - Product range is very good, prices are competitive, delivery of items is accurate and well packaged. Tutorials on website are very good. The "Not the Best" - Shipping cost are high with no free shipping for larger orders, Items are slow to be packed and shipped and from order placement to leaving warehousecan may be 3-4 days. Website is serviceable but cumbersome. The "Bad"- I have called for order support probably 4 times in past several months and the representative has been most often just plain not very friendly and somewhat abrupt. Maybe it is my misperception and I am wrong but maybe saying "Thank you for your order - we will deliver it as soon as possible, Have a nice day" would convey at least some appreciation for your business-I have never heard it. The "Possible" - I would have rated my experience close to a 5 without the mentioned and the fixes are certainly doable -

We work very hard to maintain one of the largest selections of lamp parts and restoration components available. Regarding shipping costs, as a wholesale-oriented supplier we do not build shipping charges into product pricing or artificially inflate item prices to offer “free shipping.” Shipping is never truly free — it is simply paid in different ways. We prefer to keep our product pricing competitive and charge actual shipping costs based on the size, weight, and destination of the order. We would also like to provide some context regarding fulfillment times. Many of our orders are not simple single-item shipments. Your order, for example, contained 35 different items. Orders of that size require significant picking, checking, packaging, and in some cases light assembly or made-to-order preparation before shipment. Accuracy is extremely important to us, especially with technical lamp and lighting components, and we would rather take a little additional time than ship incomplete or incorrect items. That said, we do understand the desire for faster turnaround and smoother website usability, and we continue working to improve both areas as we grow. Most importantly, we appreciate the comments regarding customer service tone and friendliness. Even when handling a high volume of technical support and order inquiries, customers should feel appreciated and respected. Your feedback is fair and helpful, and we will take it seriously.
