The package which was put together was great. Next time I will make it longer. Some of the hotels were very small and hard to move around in with a 6'6" tall fiancée but I did know that most of those rooms are like that. I loved having everything in walking distance in each town (mostly). The hotel in Inverness was really very nice but since it was 5 miles from anything we ended up using cabs quote a bit. All and all we loved it. This is our 3rd GVV trip so far.

Our Costa Rica vacation with Great Value Vacations was another wonderful experience! This was our third international trip booked through them, and once again they delivered a seamless and enjoyable vacation. From the booking process to the accommodations, everything was well organized, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the beauty and culture of Costa Rica. The only suggestion I would offer is to provide travelers with more upfront information about the distance between the airport and the resort. Our resort was approximately a 2½-hour drive from the airport, and knowing that in advance would have helped us better prepare for our arrival. Overall, we had an amazing time and continue to be impressed with the value, quality, and convenience that Great Value Vacations provides. We look forward to planning our next international adventure with them!

Just got back from an 8 day trip to Costa Rica with my husband and friends. We went to the rainforest, mountains then down to the beach. Great Value did a fabulous job. All our drivers were prompt and friendly. The hotels were top notch with great breakfast. This is my second Great Value trip. Went to Ireland in 2021. That was also a very nice trip.

The Outlander tour was exceptional. Kelly was a wonderful, enthusiastic guide. We enjoyed our time with her immensely. Our hotels were in a great location, but the ones in the Highlands could have used air conditioning or at least fans in the rooms. Overall 4.5 stars !!

While we have had success in the past with GVV, this was not case with our Scotland trip. The biggest issue was scheduling B&B's, which should have been the highlight of the trip. It was a long and arduous process in a world where we are used to scheduling online in an instant. The process took over six weeks with many attempts to get what was requested. The initial package itself didn't indicate that being charged much more was unavoidable.

From beginning to end our experience was exceptional. Hotels were good but not close to the activities. Rental car had to be upgraded because was so small couldn’t fit your luggage in so that was extra cost. Overall I would use again !

Our tour guides for Peru were fantastic. They made sure we had the best time and were so helpful when we wanted to explore the area. Our group only consisted of our party which even made it better. I honestly didn’t expect great value vacations to be as good as other more expensive tour groups such as Globus… but it turns out they were way better!!!!

Resort was great, however they knew the beach was CLOSED & CHOSE not to inform us. This was a birthday gift for my 18 year old that loves the ocean!!! We have a pool & a hot tub at home!!! I spent thousands extra sending him to the town next door that spent the money to clear the seaweed!!!!!!!

Everything was scheduled well and booked appropriately. We have used your site to visit Ireland twice before this trip and this trip was not as enjoyable. A few things to consider- In Kilkenny, use hotels in town. Parking isn’t easily accessible and the hotel we stayed at wasn’t centrally located to anything walkable. When visiting Sligo, I’d recommend staying in a town like Sligo or Bellina instead of Enniscrone. Even in- season while the beach is nice, it’s chilly to enjoy, and the town is shut down half the week and a ghost town. Not many choices for food and the hotel restaurant was not good at all. Sligo is beautiful but there is not much in the smaller towns for conveniences. The last two trips we’ve stayed outside Of Dublin City and that has been perfect. I would recommend continuing to do this- but again near a town. Roganstown country club was ideally located 5 minutes from a small town and it was adorable. Close enough to Dublin but out of the hustle and bustle. Overall the trip was good. We just were not as impressed with the selection of locations this time as before. For the increased price we paid for this trip in comparison to the last two trips, I guess I just hoped for better choices.

The tour director Kristina did a great job and was lovely. The driver was excellent and very nice. The trip was well designed. I really did feel like I saw the best of Italy. My only criticism is that there should have been more communication from the corporation in the last few weeks leading up to the trip as to what to expect and some details like where exactly to meet the tour group at the airport the first day of the trip (the information was that we were to meet at ‘column 2 inside terminal 3’ when in fact it was outside of terminal 3 a/e/b the exit signs. Since our contact person with Cosmos was on the other side of the exit signs through opaque glass, we didn’t see her and thus needlessly wandered around the terminal in frustration looking for the group. In fairness, we were the only ones who didn’t find them and they made it right by getting us to our hotel for which we were grateful.

My partner was very sick, so I was other people in my household. So I was not able to go and we were not able to get all money back in return. I honestly do not recommend this company, and I will not book another trip to the site. It’s very unfortunate.

We paid for upgraded hotels. One of the two hotels was definitely NOT an upgrade. Location was awful (not close to anything we wanted to see), a water leak in the bathroom of the hotel room, and generally needed updated and improved maintenance. The other hotel was wonderful. This was my fourth trip I have taken with GVV and the first complaint. I was disappointed that GVV did not reimburse us for what we paid for upgraded hotels for this trip. It has soured me from traveling with them again.
