Great Time in Las Vegas

The Bellagio was wonderful! We loved the room, the location, the atmosphere, the service. It couldn't have been any better. It was very convenient to fly from our local smaller airport. This was our 6th trip with GVV.

Great Value Vacations was great

Great Value Vacations was great. They let us split our three day vacation so that we could use our flight and three days in Honolulu before a cruise we booked separately. We were then able to fly home as part of the package.

Rome and Amalfi coast

Rome and Amalfi coast Hotels were very nice in Rome and Sorrento. The Rome hotel was a little far from the center of the city. It was a 35 euro ride to the coliseum. The hotel in Sorrento was absolutely perfect. The car rental was good , but the extras were over 300 euros.

An Experience to Remember in Bella Italia

This was the 4th vacation we've booked through GVV and we keep coming back because of their stellar vacation packages & reasonable prices. We stayed in a 12th c (it's at least that old) castle outside of Florence overlooking a picturesque landscape filled with vineyards. During that 6 night stay we (on our own) visited Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, the 5 coastal cities of Cinque Terre, and San Marino. We then spent 2 days exploring Rome. It was an epic vacation! We fell in love with Italy and its people ad plan to go back.

Great Value Vacations are very efficient, on point and promptly sorted out a small problem I had, before I left. I would definitely use them again. The trip to Mexico worked out without a hitch. The hotel was lovely, food amazing, great service and we had a wonderful stay! Looking out for the next value package 😊

This was my 6th time using your company…

This was my 6th time using your company to travel. Everything went as smooth as ever. The only down side I could even mention is we did not like Iceland are at all. Every other time we have used your company in the past we have flown with aer lingus or delta which were great but Iceland air was cheap! They didn’t offer any inflight meal, snack or even ear buds without purchasing them. 8 hours is a long flight to not have anything unless you pay ridiculous airport prices. I will never use Iceland air again if I can help it

Not sure I’d book again …

We booked with Great Value Vacations after hearing great things about them from a cousin who had used them for a few trips. Taking the guesswork out of choosing hotels and transportation was what made it seem like a great option. However, I don’t think I would use them again. The flights all included layovers that just prolonged already long travel days (Denver to London and Rome to Denver). A 7 am flight from Rome to Frankfurt for a connecting flight on our final day meant a 4 am taxi pickup to get to the airport. Not ideal at the end of our trip. Since the flights were all basic economy, they couldn’t be changed or modified. You also didn’t have a lot of seat selection choices (if any) and had to pay baggage fees on every flight. Our very first flight was cancelled at 4:40 am due to mechanical issues. Great Value’s limited time frame to speak with their help desk meant we had to deal with this on our own. When I finally did get to speak with someone, their response was “you need to deal with the airline yourself.” When I asked about Eurostar options if our train was cancelled (London to Paris) due to the overwhelming heat wave in Europe, the help desk had no idea what I was talking about (as a travel company, I’d think you’d make staff aware of the biggest heat wave to hit Europe in decades). But again, the response was “deal with Eurostar if that happens.” The hotel in Rome (B&B Hotel Roma Tuscolana – San Giovanni) was in the suburbs and far from attractions. It was also completely unaccessible with stairs and no ramps. So it made for multiple expensive Uber/taxi trips to and from central Rome in the heat. The recommended hotel in Paris (Mercure Paris 17 Batignolles) was also outside of the city center which meant longer taxi/Uber waits to get to where we wanted to go and more expensive rides. The Paris hotel had a/c but it couldn’t keep up with the heatwave and we had a very miserable first night in the hotel.

We had a spectacular vacation in…

We had a spectacular vacation in Hawaii! I was blown away by the room at The Hilton Waikoloa in the Maki Tower. Our first floor room had a view of the Dolphins and we could watch them playing and the trainers, which was awesome for my kid. The flights were great as well. In Wakkiki, the Hilton Hawaiian Village was also nice (very, very busy tho). My only issue was that upon arrival the Hilton attempted to get us to upgrade to the Rainbow Tower for an additional fee. The fee was not small. When we got to our room in the Diamond Head Tower that was booked via GVV, I was horrified. I wasn't that much upset with GVV as I was with Hilton. I have never stayed at a Hilton that was this run down and truly just gross. I blame that on Hilton, they should be ashamed. I went down to the front desk and complained, and they fixed it by putting us in the Rainbow Tower, which was BEAUTIFUL and the rooms are clean and lovely. Everything else was an absolute dream and at a steal of a deal. We paid $799 pp for 5 nights with Air and Hotel and Air between islands. Waikoloa is amazing too. We rented a car in Kona which was so great because the resort is far from the downtown and the shopping area. We swam with the Dolphins and took a Blue Hawaiian Heli ride (EPIC!!!). We were able to call Hawaiian Airlines and change our flight last moment to leave out of Honolulu instead of having to fly back to Kona and spend 3 hours sweating in the open air airport, so that was wonderful. LOVE LOVE LOVE Hawaii and the Hawaiian people, we will go back. Not sure if it will be with great value as the price for our same trip is now almost 3 times what it was, but we have just booked another trip through great value to London, Paris, and Rome!

We were a bit skeptical because this site seemed too good to be true but we were wrong and I am so glad we took a chance with them! We traveled to ireland and purchased the country and castles package. It was nothing short of amazing and great value vacations made our trip so easy. We didn’t have to take care of anything outside of getting there. We will be using them for all of our future vacations! Thanks so much!

The hotel was disaster

The hotel was disaster. I was under major construction during ou stay and we were not able to enjoy it. Great Value Vacations should have let us know about the major renovations when booking.

Amazing trip to Thailand

Amazing trip to Thailand! Flights, rides and tours all went smoothly. The staff was so friendly and we had an amazing experience! This is my second time using this site to book vacations and I’ve been incredibly happy!

This company takes you money up front…

This company takes your money up front and if anything happens that you need help with after the original booking they will not help you. Once they have your money they could care less what happens to you. Their reply confirms. What I stated. The error in the original booking was made by them not us. Their correction to that error was the cause of all our problems not the flight cancellation as a professional travel organization they should have known that by splitting my sons family into separate itineraries the great risk that left in case anything like a flight cancellation occurred. If they cared they could have used a better way to correct their error that did not leave us at risk. As you see their response they refuse to understand what they did and they take no responsibility. I want nothing from them but an apology and for them to never split a families itinerary again

We love Great Value Vacations

We love Great Value Vacations. This was our second time buying a package from there. Everything was nearly perfect. We did have one driver try to drop us off at the wrong hotel in the wrong place completely, but we got it squared away. All three hotels were lovely with good A/C. The included breakfasts were so good. You won’t have trouble finding enough to eat. We got to see wildlife at each hotel. Birds, monkeys, lizards. Everything was amazing and we can’t wait for our next trip to Costa Rica! Book it! Oh, if you’re trying to decide between the Costa Rica trip that includes Playa Hermosa or the one with Tortuguerro, make it Tortuguerro. You won’t regret it!

This is our second excursion with Great Value Vacations. The packages they offered were exactly as promised. We did the Ireland B @ B vacation. It was fabulous. Custom Service was fantastic prior to leaving. Solved any issues we had in a very timely manner. Particularly airlines issues. Fantastic!! Would definitely recommend to anyone...

We had the most amazing experience

We had the most amazing experience. Visiting 3 different areas was great. Also having a car so we could get around and see things off the beaten path. I would book through Gret Value again.
