Mytrip to London, England was great. The flights to and from London were long because we went thru Iceland. I enjoyed the videos of Iceland on the flights. The north part of Iceland is beautiful. I find London to be quite expensive but I can afford it for a few days. I went to some of the top spots in London and this made my trip great. There was a strike on the subway lines but I was able to get around. It cost a few hundred dollars more for taxi fare. The hotel was quite nice and I enjoyed the food at the restaurant. My grandparents were fron England so that is why England is special to me.

Our 8-day trip to Norway was spectacular. Great Value came through for us again. All logistical items for our non-escorted tour, including flights, hotels, trains, boats, and local tours went off without a hitch. We stayed in great hotels in Oslo, Balestrand, and Bergen. We keep finding the "value" in Great Value Vacations to be exceptional. Happy to recommend Great Value!

I was very disappointed that the airfare was booked for the cheapest possible rate. There was not even one checked-in baggage included. Why wouldn't you tell your clients this? And who would go on a 13-day vacation without requiring luggage? Other aspects of the package were okay, but not outstanding.

We booked the Northern Ireland trip with Great Value Vacations. This was all PHENOMENAL! There were no issues with any flights, cars, hotels or excursions. The 4 hotels we stayed at in the 6 nights on our trip were great. The one in Donegal, Harvey's Point, was TOP TIER! The 3 excursions they gave us vouchers for were all wonderful to visit, but we also had enough time to book additional things we wanted to do in each city. I would ABSOLUTELY book again, and we plan to!

An unforgettable vacation! We booked and were placed in hotel HCC Regente right in center city Catalunya where you could walk to everything. Hotel was clean, staff were attentive and the rooftop pool/restaurant was great! The hotel was perfectly placed in the center of an area where there was plenty to do and see. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Transfers were a breeze and the entire setup from start to finish was perfect! Clear communication with transport and tour. I will say the tour is mostly a sightseeing tour by car, and there was not a lot of walking or picture taking. There was still plenty to do and our driver was great! Well worth every penny.

It was a great trip. Everything went flawless. The only thing I would change is the flights seating arrangement because they give you a standard economy without giving you options but other than that, it was fantastic.

The hotels were great, thr high speed rail service was great, the airline experience was awful. This airline started the boarding process one hour before the takeoff. The reason is that they crammed us into buses that drove us to the plane. Then you had to climb a very high and long stairway. Very hard to do when you have suitcase and backpack. Once the plane hit cruising altitude we were served our meal and with the meal you can get a soft drink. Instead of the usual can and plastic cup with ice, you got a drink poured into a paper cup. If you want another soft drink you had to pay. They offered water twice during the flight but the water was room temperature. It was just an overall miserable experience.

All hotel desk clerks and concierge were professional and very friendly. The transfer drivers also kind. But, overall, this trip was very disappointing. Within a hour of booking my trip, my overall time beginning in Athens was reduced & drastically split in half due to holiday so I only got to utilize a half day at the beginning of the tour and one full day at the end instead of the original 2.5 days. This was the first red flag. The Athens hotel location was poor offering no easy walking to sites. Best breakfast of the three hotels but only got to experience one morning’s breakfast because ridiculous transfer times that were poorly scheduled and executed preventing me from two of three prepaid breakfasts; ferry rides were also way too long eating in to half or all of an entire day. Air transportation could have & should have been used to save much needed time and for the same price as a ferry ticket, especially since tour was booked 9-10 months in advance. Due to these long transit times having a day or a day and a half to island hop was insufficient. On a positive note, Paros was by far the best. A day ferry to Antiparos also wonderful. I hired a private guide in Paros & he was outstanding. Santorini accommodations were poor and the hotel location was too remote offering no restaurant for lunch/dinner for a shoulder season trip. Thus causing me & other guests to stay locked up in the room for the entire day of rain (and other guests too) for lack of available transportation to towns. Santorini is overrated and the private tour guide, although nice, somewhat unaccommodating & should have reduced the hours and refunded money because six of the ten sites were closed or unsafe to hike to in the rain. The Akrotiri of Thera archeological dig is impressive.

Kauai: Great location, remodeled room, clean, good maid service, close to beach with premium garden/pool view ground floor balcony. Nice beach. Parking lot is a long walk. Parking cost seemed a bit excessive. Close to shopping, on coconut shore of Kauai, halfway between North Shore and South Poi Pu and within an hour drive of West side of island. 3-5 miles from airport for ease of egress and access. Disappointment was ongoing construction, leaking roofs on interconnecting hallways during rains, restaurant within was clean however chef burned the Ono fish by overcooking on grill, not sauteing which caused the fish to be dry and tasteless. Never ate at the inhouse restaurant again for 6 night stay. Pool areas also under construction or else areas just shut down. No construction progress was sighted in pool areas.

We did the Montreal and Quebec City package in May 2026. Overall, the package and experience was very good. Travel docs came on time and were accurate. The tour companies had our names and was seamless. The Westin hotel in montreal was very nice, centrally located and the room spacious. Rail to QC was very nice, comfortable. The hotel Laurent in QC was nice but rooms very small. Don’t get a room facing Grandee Allee’e ave. The night bars will keep you up until 3:00am. This was our first experience with great values vacations. Overall,very good and we will book again with them.

It was a good deal and we enjoyed Paris. However, there were a number of hidden costs. Air flights were booked with Air Icelandic with no baggage allowance. Each checked bag cost $130 each way. We had 4 checked bags. That added over $1,000. Air Icelandic doesn't include any food, snacks or beverages. They don't even provide ear buds for the entertainment system. Hotel room was included but not city fees which added $240. We've traveled using Great Value before but were never dinged by the hidden costs. We've done B&B with car to England, Ireland, and Scotland (3 separate trips). No baggage fees, food, snacks and N/A beverages on flights and no extra fees at any hotel or B&B. The hotel (Ibis Styles Meteor-Porte D'Italie) is a 3 star (room cleaning is okay but not great - wire champagne cage under bed but not ours, sometimes towels not changed, etc) but the breakfast buffet was pretty good. The metro station is real close and you can take the 7 line to Chatelet and transfer nearly anywhere. We used RER B from Charles de Gaulle but booked a airport shuttle for departure. The airport shuttle was much more convenient, faster, less stressful, less strenuous and cost about $10 more than RER B to Grade du Nord then subway to the hotel

Flight times worked well and the hotels in Venice and Florence were very convenient. The train tickets with the package were perfect. Pricing was great! Popartment in Florence was in a great location but the mattresses were awful. B&B Hotel Roma wasn’t great. Staff wasn’t helpful and the location was terrible. You were not near any of the attractions so you spent a lot of time traveling to your destination.
