Three nights in each location is very good for really getting to know your way around. Our hotels were in good locations in each of the three cities. Our flights between Copenhagen/Oslo, Oslo/Stockholm did not include carry on luggage so we had an extra expense of $120. Our hotel in Stockholm did not have windows!! Very strange indeed. Our hotel in Copenhagen did not include breakfast so again we had extra expenses. It was a pleasant vacation.

Our 'Affordable' vacations don't include daily breakfast. The breakfast in Oslo and Stockholm were an added plus at no additional cost.
'Basic Economy' flights typically do not include a checked bag allowance but you do have the option to upgrade to a higher class of service during the booking flow on our website.
The Thon Partner Hotel Kungsbron does have rooms with windows and we do offer that upgrade option during the booking flow on our website. It is a unique hotel most desired due to its central location.

This resort was so good I have to say that it was one of the best vacations I’ve had in a while. The food was really good, the beach was wonderful and the staff were friendly. I truly enjoyed myself.

#Robbed in Rome
I liked the travel arrangements in Venice and Florence, but our hotel in Rome was subpar and in a bad neighborhood. The first time we stepped outside to find food, I was robbed two blocks away in broad daylight. Completely ruined our time in Rome as we were not safe and chose to leave the trip early to ensure our physical safety.

Being robbed in broad daylight is a frightening experience, and we are very sorry for the distress and disruption this caused during your trip.
We have worked successfully with the Rome property in the past and have not experienced similar issues. However, as with many major cities, incidents such as theft and pickpocketing can occur despite travelers taking reasonable precautions.

Our Ireland trip was fantastic. I was nervous about booking an entire trip online like this. I have always used a travel agent or done it myself. We moved through three cities, so we had multiple trains and hotels. It all worked so well and the cost was a total bargain, half the price I would normally spend on a vacation! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotels and they were all in great locations and included breakfast. The directions for the trains were very clear. All in all, a great experience and I would book with Great Value Vacations again without hesitation!

These people know how to conduct…
These people know how to conduct business!!! My wife and I were scheduled to go to France and then England. Personal events were happening that would not allow us to do the UK portion. However, we were willing to just extend our stay in France. Mind you, this is about three months in advance. I contacted the customer service line and spoke with a wonderful woman named Barbara. She was very positive and said she'd see what she could do. Within twenty fours, she had our departing flight switched and within thirty six hours, she had cancelled our England bookings and extended our hotel stay in France. We were prepared to pay dearly for this change. When she said that the numbers evened out and we wouldn't owe anything more, you could have knocked me over with a feather! I'm sure that's not always the case, but it was nice not to be taken advantage of because of our situation. Barbara was sensational! Her professionalism, positive attitude, and hard work are a credit to Great Value Vacations! We will be booking all of our future vacations with them and telling our friends!

Disappointing and rushed
I’ve done a few trips with great value that has been great, this one wasn’t as good. Lee time in each city was limited to one day with early flights out the next. The time Galapagos focused only on one island with a quick trip to North Seymour, and the North Seymour tour group was subpar. The hotels were cramped and lacked amenities - the hotel in Quito was far from everything.
This was the one that sent a lifetime trip to the Galapagos, and I left feeling disappointed that we missed so much and spent countless hours flying versus enjoying each location - 4 flights back (easily could have been 2).

When the flight they booked for us was canceled we called the number provided and were told there was nothing they could do to help us. Even though they booked the flight we were told it was between us and the airline and not anything from them to help.

This was my second trip booked through GVV. The accommodations were beautiful. The trip was thoughtfully curated such that we could enjoy many sights near our hotels. No issues at all with flights or getting the rental car. Highly recommend!

The B&Bs' and hotels we chose were wonderful...especially the B&Bs'
. The exception was the Coo's guest house...No one in the residence, no directions to their restaurant, tiny, tiny space. Of course the roads are a narrow challenge, the weather a challenge as well. Jared was most helpful prior to our trip
Scotland and its' people are beautiful!

My two sons and I visited Spain, France, and Italy on a wonderful whirlwind tour in May, 2026. What made the trip fantastic, aside from the gorgeous locations and delicious foods, was our tour director, fabulous Fabiana (Fabi)! At her young age, she is personable, engaging, and what a historian! So knowledgeable and fun to have on the trip. From her “hola hola, wakey wakey” to alert us we were soon arriving to another wonderful stop, to the expertise she showed when inconveniences arose!! I would definitely take another vacation with Great Value Vacations thru Cosmos, even the very same trip, “Mediterranean Flavors” if Fabi is with us! Can’t wait for next adventure, where shall I go? LOVED this vacation! Everything arranged by GVV went off without a hitch. All of our transfers were easy and GVV or hotel staff made sure we knew where to go. All of the hotels were great - the only slight negative was the location of our hotel in Dubrovnik wasn't within easy walking distance of the Old Town. All 3 other hotels were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. I definitely recommend GVV and will use them again.
