First, as far as computer chairs go, GTRacing chairs seem designed to last. The first thing I noticed is how little plastic there is in this chair! The construction is predominantly metal, which is great. The faux leather/pleather feels supple and comfortable, but I haven't had it long enough to comment on its longevity. I love the tan color and patterning on this chair; aesthetically, it resembles a seat you might see in a spaceship, in a 1970's sci-fi film. The fold-out leg rest is a cleaver design and pretty comfortable, too; the whole chair, for that matter is genuinely very comfortable. My one gripe, and this lost it a couple stars in my rating, is that the back is slightly crooked; it's slight enough that it's not worth the effort to disassemble it, rebox it, and try to exchange it, but it's noticeable: when you look at the chair from the front, you can see that the left side of the seat-back is closer to the seat cushion than is the right side. So, overall, these Aegis Series GTP6002 chairs are indeed comfortable, and the build quality seems robust. I couldn't say whether the defect in my chair is representative, or whether it was a rare mistake; if other reviews aren't reporting such things, you're probably safe. Update, 7/18/2026: GTRacing have been most gracious and have reached out and offered a partial refund. So, great customer service!

It's taller and more comfortable than my old office chair that recently to the dump. It's good for a tall person likes me who is six feet tall.

It’s a wonderful experience. The gt500a especially is good for its price you get a foot rest and two comfortable pillows that attach to the chair with a strap and the recline angle is amazing good for long gaming sessions and wonderful if your wanting to watch a movie by yourself nothing much but really great.
