The Heybike Mars 2.0 is a great e-bike, especially for someone buying their first electric bike. It was easy to assemble, simple to learn, and very comfortable to ride. It's perfect for getting around the city and comes equipped with bright lights and a horn, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's user-friendly, reliable, and a great value for the price. Highly recommend!
First e bike, I saw my nieghbor had two of them and I asked how they liked them and that me and my wife had been thinking of buying e bikes. After a little more research I decided to order us a combo package,my wife decided she wanted to get a cargo bike instead to haul around our grand son and went with a tst brand I ordered the ranger pro. After receiving both bikes and assembling them (let me tell you assembly of the ranger pro was so much easier than the tst brand) my wife wants to ride my hey bike instead of her tst brand..looks like im ordering another hey bike..😅.
Solid built ebike. Great comfortable ride. I'm getting 18 miles per charge with full throttle and all hills.

I got the mars 3.0 a few weeks ago. It was well packaged and the shipping was pretty fast. It actually arrived in good condition. (I always worry about this) the assembly of the bike was straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow. I figured I would spend a few hours on it, but was way easier than I thought. I was actually riding it that same night. I also checked all the bolts and spokes and everything was tight. The frame has clean looking welds and the paint is nice ( I do a lot of welding at work so I know a bad weld when I see one) I bedded the brakes after testing them and I’m impressed by them. I live in a really hilly area. The battery has been holding up well so far. My favorite thing about the bike is fact that I can upgrade about everything I want. ( gearing , brakes, ect.) the motor definitely has alot of power to it. I truly believe this bike is the best bang for the buck! I’m currently running duel chainwheels up front( 42t and a 39t) it’s a mountain tractor now!
Shipping was extremely fast and I was well informed of all processes after purchase. The bikes were packaged well and had no damage at all. The bikes are more beefy than I had expected (which is great). Bikes have great power and maneuverability. Cons- battery rattles on bumps, no water bottle holder, saddle (for me) is uncomfortable and one of the bikes is missing settings in the controller that the other bike has available. Looking forward to putting many miles on these
Their support sucks. Had the bike over a month and can't ride it! Battery cover latch fell off and exposes the battery. Fender rubs the tire. Not a mile on it. Can't talk to anybody for what seems like simple fixes.
I’ve been using the HeyBike Ranger S for my daily commute to work, and overall, I am really liking this bike so far. It has proven to be a reliable, powerful ride for daily transportation. The Pros: Excellent Power & Battery Range: The motor has plenty of get-up-and-go, and the battery life has exceeded my expectations. I only find myself needing to plug it in once or twice a week, which makes it incredibly low-maintenance for a daily commuter. Pothole-Smoothing Fat Tires: The fat tires are a massive plus. Our local roads have their fair share of potholes, and these tires absorb the impacts beautifully, providing a very stable, confident, and comfortable ride. Solid Stopping Power: The brakes are excellent. They offer strong, reliable stopping power, which is exactly what you want when navigating city traffic and unpredictable road conditions. The Cons: Fiddy Battery Key: My biggest complaint is the battery locking mechanism. I had to fumble with the key for quite a long time just to get the battery securely locked into the frame. It was frustrating enough that I’ve decided to just leave the battery locked into the bike permanently and charge it directly on the frame. Minor Out-of-the-Box Adjustments: I did notice a few loose pieces right after unboxing that required me to go around and tighten them up before my first solid ride. Final Verdict: Despite a couple of minor setup headaches with the key and checking for loose hardware, the performance on the road is outstanding. If you need a powerful, comfortable daily commuter that can handle rough pavement, the Ranger S is a great choice.
The website was done well and was very user friendly. I was able to confidently choose a bike for my wife's 70th birthday. It will be a surprise for her come July. I am excited to see her reaction. She has wanted an e-bike for sometime and the HeyBike appears to be the right choice.
This is my first bike in 28 years! I did a lot of research before the Memorial Day sale helped make my decision. I knew the Mars 3.0 was going to be a lot of bike for me, but I really wanted something I could "grow into." I wanted the ability to be able to take it on the local mountain bike trails after refamiliarizing myself with basics of cycling. The Mars 3.0 is making cycling such a treat! The pedal assist seems pretty natural, although I do know what "ghost pedaling" and the sluggish response feel like that others mention. It's not bothersome to me, but I also know I only spent $1100 on it. If you want something with cat-like responses, you probably aren't looking in this pricepoint. It's truly amazing for the price! Of couse there are lots of polarized reviews out there (love or hate), but I've had a great experience so far. And I'm not alone! My spouse hasn't had a bike in 30+ years either, and they were not entirely thrilled about me purchasing one... until it arrived, and they went on their first ride! 10 seconds into the ride they whoop, "WOOHOO!" because this thing is so dang fun to ride!
I've had my HeyBike Cityrun for a month now and really love it. It's been years since I've been able to use a bike due to medical conditions and it's great to be back out there. The bike is simple to use and I can spend hours out on the local trails or just a quick run to the store. Living in the Raleigh area is quite hilly and the bike handles the terrain great. I'm looking forward to many miles of trails ahead.
I bought 2 Mars 3.0, both bike have worked out very good with just a few problems during assembly (incorrect bolt lengths and loose fasteners). They are very powerful and comfortable and the quality seems good, time will tell.
A little tall and heavy for my wife. But shipping was great and customer service was great. So really can’t fault the physical limits.
The refurbished Mars 2.0 was delivered in like-new condition. It went together quickly and easily with only one stripped screw. It is fun to ride and has a lot of technology for the price.
I bought 2 of the Mars 3.0 bikes and I was a bit nervous about what the process would be like to assemble them but it was amazingly easy. I got an orange and blue bike. I love them very much and that the app can customize the pedal assist levels. Very happy with my purchase for me and my son to be able to ride together. The bikes are delivered in sturdy boxes and the bikes themselves seem very very well made.
The bike is amazing. It gives me the pedal assist (and throttle when I need it) that I was looking for to help me do longer rides around town. For the price, the bike is unparalleled. Consumer Reports also rates it #1 among e-bikes, which is how I was initially drawn to it. The only tweak I'd love for the future is if the level '1' on pedal assist gave a bit less pedal assist. I find myself switching between 1 and 0 to get a better workout.
HEYBIKE is the best! After doing extensive research to find the highest-quality e-bike for the money, HEYBIKE came out on top. I purchased two bikes three years ago, and they’re still running flawlessly. Recently, I decided to upgrade and bought three CityRun bikes. They’re incredibly stylish, even more comfortable, smoother to ride, and very easy to operate. The quality and value continue to impress me. I absolutely love HEYBIKE!
We bought two of the HeyBike Ranger 3 Pros. I am over 350lbs and approaching 50; however, the bikes are solid and powerful. The bike does not end up bogged down - it's able to keep pace without issue. The full suspension is great and helps keep the ride comfortable. Even the default seat is comfortable! Overall I would highly recommend for anyone of any age wanting to get outside more and explore the world without worry about getting caught on a huge hill or running out of energy before making it home.

Shipping was very fast. Not missing anything in box Paper instructions would be better but we watched video and after a while finally figured out how to put it together. I love my Heybike. Still figuring things out on it. Battery life is great! Would recommend!
