Heygen is very well
First of all the tools of Heygen enabled my ideas to become reality. The pilot work I tried on the free plan was impressive to understand and add value. Then post my plan purchase I had many feel good aspects. 1. Their support is commendable (do not leave issue open) 2. Being honest to understand some of the improvement aspects of the tool. Though the tool may require some improvement in the performance/specific technical use case (specific to my requirement) area their overall support experience, usefulness of tool and honest support provided me rich experience.
As someone with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculus, I truly appreciate the support team at HeyGen. They are incredibly patient, understanding, and responsive whenever I have questions. While learning the platform and video production techniques is up to me, having such a helpful and accessible support team makes the process much easier. Thank you for your kindness and for always getting back to me so quickly!
Excellent! They answer my request in a minute after !
Don't waste your money and time on this service if you're looking to translate videos and localize your content. Been using this for over a month now and almost every single time I make a project their automatic systems place my videos into "pending moderation" despite not containing anything against TOS, sometimes the same video even gets approved in a different language but blocked in a different one despite being 1:1 the same script and video. Ridiculous. I used to wait for them to automatically review it but even after waiting 8-12 HOURS (not minutes, HOURS) the videos are still "pending moderation." When I work on this platform it *NEVER* goes smoothly. I need to go through their AI chatbot to reach a live support agent and then wait for them to manually review the videos, disrupting workflow and causing so much wasted time. It's a waste because their editor is great and the voice quality is usually good at least in English. Some languages like Swedish just use a default stock voice and your voice doesn't get cloned so beware of that too. But in my opinion, localize your content elsewhere.
I am extremely disappointed with HeyGen's handling of their Creator Plan promotion. HeyGen publicly displayed a promotion offering 1 month free Creator Plan. I redeemed the offer through their system, and the subscription was successfully activated. Shortly afterward, HeyGen cancelled it and explained that the promotion was "sent by mistake." I understand mistakes happen, but customers should not be responsible for a company's internal errors after an offer has been publicly presented, accepted, and activated. The issue is not about money. The issue is trust. A company should stand behind promotions it officially provides instead of taking them back after customers rely on them. Very disappointing experience and a poor way to treat users.
I good experience
I've had a great experience with HeyGen. It's an excellent platform that keeps getting better with every update. I love that the team is constantly adding new features and improving the product, which makes it even more useful for my work. What really stands out, though, is the customer support. Every time I've needed help, the support team has responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. A special thank you to Sam and John, they've both been incredibly helpful whenever I've had questions or needed assistance. I'm truly glad I discovered HeyGen. It has become an important part of my workflow, and I can confidently say it's well worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and innovative AI video platform with outstanding customer service.
HeyGen is a wonderful tool and they keep making it better.
it takes time but it gets the job done
I was charged for a Business subscription that I never knowingly agreed to. I never received a Business subscription confirmation, invoice, or email notifying me of the upgrade. Months later, I discovered recurring Business charges. Although HeyGen replied, "We've issued your requested refund," they refunded only one payment while refusing to refund the remaining charges. I have now reported the case to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Based on my experience, I recommend that everyone carefully review their subscription status and billing history. Very disappointing customer service and refund handling.
I have bought the creator subscription but the amount was deducted but the plan was not activated. I have faced this problem 4 times in 4 different accounts. Please look into this type of issues.
HayGen is amaging tool to create your ai clone.
I wanted to run a very small test of HeyGen’s Complex-language capability to see whether the quality would meet my needs. Since that language support was the main reason I was considering the product, I did not want to pay, sign up, and invest my time before confirming that it actually worked for my use case. I explained this clearly to their support team, but their response felt extremely rigid, unhelpful, inflexible, and unfriendly. Instead of trying to understand the needs of a genuine potential customer or offering a simple way to perform a limited test, they simply referred me to their policies. I have run my own business and worked in the market for many years, and in my opinion, this is not an effective way to treat potential customers or market a product. A serious customer should be able to verify that a product works for their specific needs before making a commitment. In the end, I am glad I experienced the quality of their support and their lack of flexibility before paying anything. It helped me decide not to start any business relationship with this company.
I redeemed an official promo code sent by HeyGen, completed the checkout process successfully, and my Creator Plan was activated. I was even able to create a video using the paid features. A few hours later, my subscription was canceled without any warning or explanation. I contacted support and was initially told the finance team would investigate my case, but I never received a ticket or any follow-up. After chasing support again, I was told the promotional email had been sent by mistake and that all subscriptions created with that code had been canceled. What makes this experience particularly concerning is that HeyGen had already accepted the redemption, activated the subscription, and had access to my billing information during checkout. The mistake was entirely on their side, yet customers were expected to bear the consequences. Rather than honoring a promotion that they themselves distributed or offering any goodwill gesture, they simply canceled the subscriptions and closed support tickets. This left me feeling that customer trust and satisfaction were not a priority. Mistakes happen, but how a company responds to them matters. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in HeyGen, and I cannot recommend the service based on how this situation was handled.
I had a very frustrating experience with HeyGen's customer support and platform policies. An official promo code was issued, which I redeemed directly through their system. The checkout validated and successfully activated a 1-month Creator Plan on my account. Relying on this official activation, I immediately spent time building an active, time-sensitive project on their platform. Shortly after, HeyGen abruptly canceled the subscription and downgraded my account back to the Free Plan. When I contacted support, they admitted it was an internal promotional error on their part, but refused to honor the activated plan, offer any courtesy credits, or provide any goodwill resolution for the lost time and disrupted workflow. While company mistakes happen, pulling the plug on an already activated subscription mid-project without taking any responsibility or offering compensation shows poor customer care and damages user trust. Extremely disappointed with how this was handled.
Heygen sucks. Takes over an hour to generate a video less than 60 seconds. When I upload images to my video from assets, I'm not even allowed to edit the image to size. No option to crop it, even though half of the image I uploaded is cut out because they won't let me adjust it. There's so many other things, but overall it sucks, is time consuming, and ends up making things more difficult. Heygen actually puts me in a terrible mood. After I'm done using it I feel like yelling at someone because how frustrating the process of using it can be.
