My partner had an accident in Japan, the insurance company took HOURS to give us instructions. We had to call back to get some kind of update and a very rude lady told us they were waiting for their boss to approve a deposit and they did not had an ETA for that to happen. We ended up asking for an ambulance and going to the hospital by ourselves. After that, we started the reimbursment process. The link they sent is a poorly made webpage, it is bugged and it does not allow me to upload the documentation and continue with the reimbursment. HeyMondo helped me to send the documentation via e-mail, but the insurance company (Iris Global) has not replied since the process started. UPDATE: Heymondo customer support team was really helpful to contact the insurance company and pressure them to review my case. They finally replied and accepted the reimbursment, the payment took some days to complete but I finally got it. I bumped the score from 1 to 3 stars. While my issue was solved and HeyMondo team was really helpful, I still think this kind of scenarios should not happen. If I didnt send follow-up emails and just "trust the process" I would probably never got my money back.
