I was lied to about service

I was lied to about service! I signed up for a one year service contract. I was told I could put it vacation mode and my contract would still be one year being a snowbird I would only need it in the summer! When I tried the put it in vacation mode at a much smaller per month fee I was told that it would only suspend it and I would still be locked longer than my year. Stay away from hughesnet it’s a rip off! Randy Baker

Customer service is great.....speed of internet service could be a little faster. Many times we go to watch or use Wi-Fi, we getting the loading bar for awhile and thing are slow to load.

RUN! Avoid Hughsnet like the Plague!

⁹RUN! Absolutely the WORST satellite internet. Avoid Hughsnet like the plague!!! Those tokens are joke! In the last 2 years ive had Hughsnet, I dont remember the last time I watched something that was not pixelated. An hour and a half movie took 4 hours to watch because it had to keep buffering and loading. Tokens didnt help at all. Called today to schedule a tech to come out and take their satellite back when my contract ends in 2 weeks. It took 3 reps and 50 minutes, just to schedule an appointment! On top of that theyre going to charge me $100 for the tech to come out. Seriously one of the worst decision ive made in my life. NEVER AGAIN. If you dont believe me, go read about Hughsnet on Reddit. I wish I listened to reddit 2 years ago.

Issue Resolved !!

When our internet service slowed to a crawl I contacted Hugh’s Net CS. Carlos was very knowledgeable and was able to correct the issue as well as advise us on a better solution/plan that would work to our advantage going forward. Carlos was great to work with. His help is the definition of Excellent Customer Service. Much Appreciated Carlos !!
