I have been a customer for a long time now, so long I can't remember and I don't have any negetive comments. Their service has always been great, I would recomend anyone looking for Internet service to try HUGHES NET!!

Very poor customer service

I have a friend that has Hugesnet. A while ago, the Internet became slow or very slow and then nothing. A huge problem is that it is going to take several weeks for a technician to come out and fix the problem and in the meantime, my friend has NO Internet which is a huge problem because my friend lives in a rural area and has no cell phone. I checked the computer and ran a modem checking app and got a message saying "Bad Gateway." This is the same thing a tech had my friend do, I understand, while talking on the phone. The only thing my friend can do is wait, and wait, and wait for a technician to come out and see if the problem is the modem or some other thing. It is very frustrating for my friend to wait so long without having Internet access.

RUN do not use this company

RUN do not use this company for your internet! I’m 67 years old and remember dial up and this is the dial up service of 2026! The worst internet service provider I’ve ever had to deal with. You won’t get any service if you have a little rain or a cloudy day. It is awful. They don’t tell you how janky their Temu satellites are. This company will absolutely screw you over and tell you over and over that “you signed a contract “. I cannot say enough bad things about them. Heartless greedy and awful. They only care about squeezing every single penny out of their customers. They are the epitome of disgusting corporate greed. Find another way to get your internet. You will regret doing business with these people. I did have two wonderful customer service agents try to help. But I unfortunately also had the last two in the money department that were heartless robots committed to parroting the script saying “unfortunately you signed the contract “. Don’t do it people.
