I bought a painting from a Vt…

I bought a painting from a Vt watercolorist artists later to find out it the false information was based on the artists own website. It was not cross referenced with the Vermont Watercolor Society. Come to find out the artists wasn't even a signature member of the VWS and made out his own title of being a founding signature member which is contradicting according to the vws rules and regulations!

Buyer Premium 66.5%

Buyer Premium is listed as 28% (23% plus 5% to Invaluable). I bought an item for $26.....but they added 66.5% Buyer Premium which was a SHOCK! I asked why and they said that they add $10 "Invaluable Fee" to every item PLUS 33%. This was the first....AND LAST...time that I try Invaluable (the $26 item ended up more than $50).

Incompetency swells at Invaluable and ACES Gallery…

I’ve never seen such blundering incompetence on an auction site. As a customer in good standing at Sothebys and Christie’s I wished to place a bid on here on one item from ACES Gallery out of Connecticut. They waited until the last minute to request innumerable paperwork, including auction receipts, photo ids and passports to even bid. I submitted photo ids. They blew me off on an item that went for $500. I’m sticking to the larger auction houses and eBay. Total joke show. They ought to be ashamed. I’m deleting their app. They fail to see the larger picture and push away a real customer base. Registering to bid on here is akin to fitting into a clown car.

Outrageous Online Premium

I will never bid through Invaluable again. On a $210 purchase I was charged $77.35 "online premium" by them, on top of the auction house commission (which was less than half that amount). It's an absolute rip off and from now on I will bid directly through the auction house.

not reputable

In my opinion, invaluable.com is not reputable. There are several reasons for this: - There is no way to delete your credit card information yourself (only updating it with new data is possible) - Requests to delete credit card information are not answered, and the data is not removed - You cannot deactivate your account yourself; instead, you have to contact invaluable.com by email and hope that they will do it for you In addition, emails regarding issues with auction houses are not responded to. Contact can only be made via chat or email, and the chat with the AI is not helpful at all, as you do not receive appropriate responses. All of this is unacceptable to me. I can only recommend that everyone look for a reputable alternative. If something changes in the future, the situation will be different, but as long as everything remains as it is, I would strongly advise everyone against using the platform!

It's been over a month since I won the…

It's been over a month since I won the bid 6/25 auction. Still have not received my coin. I also have winning bids from 6/30 and 7/5 auctions without receiving my coin. I pay immediately and I expect my product timely. Awful customer service. PayPal did refund me all of my money for all 3 coins that were never delivered. Stay away they are a fraud

Buyer premium inflated by mystery fees imposed by invaluable

Buyer premium is inflated by mysterious fees that are not advertised by invaluable. For example, on my item, the buyer's premium was listed as 32%, however the actual premium that appeared on my invoice was 50%. I asked the auction house about it and they also could not explain it. I will not use invaluable again - too many unexplained, unadvertised and sketchy fees - and terrible customer service as well. The final cost of my item this time was over twice the hammer price.

Adams Auctions was not interested in special aspects

The cathalogue was confusing: To see the paintings of day 1, I could simply click on a sample painting - no problem. But for day 2 there seemed to be no paintings. Only after asking did I discover that I had to look behind a room divider, a screen made of slanted chairs to reach the paintings for day 2—many people probably didn't even notice that they could find paintings behind. The staff are friendly, but I expected this auction house to be genuinely interested in the items they're auctioning and any special aspects of them. That interest was completely lacking. This auction house is sufficient for everyday art, but don't bring anything special, because it will escape them (and therefore the potential buyer as well). A significant side issue is that this auction house is located in a small, very difficult-to-reach street in the city centre. So in fact a rating of 3 stars is to high.

I’m sure they’re protected by the fine print

Found this site and decided to bid on an item as it seemed legitimate, didnt get the item but a couple rings caught my eye, they appeared to be what they claimed but I’m not a jeweller so I trust the site. Well on top of the price there was a huge fee added and that’s isn’t include the 80cad I paid for shipping of two small rings. Upon closer look something didn’t seem right. Took a picture and did a google image search, should have done this first, well the $100 or so ring I bought can be purchased from eBay en Massé for around $30 Canadian. It’s not vintage as described nor is it a lab grown jewel it’s fake. The same seller has the exact same other ring I purchased which I paid well over $150 cad for before the fees and shipping for $30 as well. And of course no returns. So I got ripped off for over $300cad on $60 worth of junk. Partially my fault but the site isn’t honest at all.

Save yourself money, don’t use this platform!

Invaluable used to be an enjoyable experience. However, with their new tiered buyer premium, it’s absolutely bogus! A 20% buyer premium on top of a $10 minimum fee per item bought, ended up making my total auction fees 43% instead of 20%. Use auction ninja instead and save yourself money and frustration!

Bad network

The last time you had an auction it was flawless. Yesterday was fine. Your network was lost today and I lost out on several items that I wanted and I was going to get no matter what. I reckon I should be grateful for what I got. Things happen. I do know that. I think the right call would have been to stop the auction until it was fixed. I know it wasn’t me. I have several others who have contacted me about the same thing. I still love your auction. It is hands down the best. Just had some things I really wanted today and lost out on
