Hi Stacey! Thanks for the feedback. The strap flattens down with break in. We use quality leather and just like a good old ball glove the more broken in the holster the more comfortable and better it will function. I personally carry the same set up you have and once you follow the break-in video provided in your shipping email as well as the via the QR code on the packaging the holster will soften and the the sweat guard will cover the back end of the slide. If we make the holster where it slides right in perfectly the first time you put your gun in - when it actually breaks in the gun will slide too far in and extend past the bottom of the holster and be too lose for your firearm. There is no 20% restock fee on our standard magnetic holsters. Your order was not a custom made to order item. Per our return policy: "We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We are happy to provide you with a refund, exchange or replacement on stock/non custom items within 30 days from receipt of your order (less shipping and handling charges). A 20% re-stocking fee will be charged on approved custom made to order returns. Most custom made to order products and clearance items are not eligible for exchange or refund."
