Where to begin? I ordered a jacket and it came with defects in the fabric and the hanger was completely broken off. I’ve been struggling to get replies from them via email for weeks. Finally I got to make the return and they said they’d pay for the return fee, which now it doesn’t seem like they will. They changed the instructions after I’ve sent it and the shipping cost is very expensive!!! I now don’t have the jacket, the money for the jacket NOR the shipping cost back and I’ve done NOTHING wrong. Don’t buy from here if you don’t want a headache and be treated like nothing/lied to.
Another thing is that they start every email with ”dear customer”, you’re not even worthy of being spoken to by your name.
Last time I ordered from them I got a size XL when I ordered a size XS. Had to struggle to get replies via email then as well.
Sadly I am a longstanding Lacemade customer who is no longer. I had two orders, one from 16th December, one from 13th January. Both pre orders, expected to ship within 30 business days (eg 6 weeks). To date, neither have been recieved. I have been repeatedly ignored, then promised a despatch date of 10th March at the latest. This has come and gone, and therefore I have asked for a refund. I've always been a fan of their clothes but their customer service and order times are abysmal.
This company needs to be investigated. Ive been purchasing from them for about a year now. Everything was fine until 12/2024 when their service went extremely downhill. I ordered around Christmas only for Lacemade to take down the listing of the items i ordered off their website (red flag #1). Then when i would reach out via their customer service for an ETA on when i would get my pending order, they would refuse to give it to me and tell me to just wait after 2 months of waiting (red flag #2). In 02/2025, I finally got my order and it was hot garbage. The dress literally was being held on by hot glue where the dressmaker stopped sewing. There were loose threads everywhere and all the items smelled of formaldehyde(red flag #3). They sent me a return slip when i asked for one via their website chat. Then they ghosted me on the refund once USPS showed they received my return (red flag #4). I waited for weeks and reached out multiple times for my refund. Eventually, i was forced to make a chargeback through my bank. Lacemade became incredibly sketchy as a company who steals from its customers and sends faulty clothing. Do not buy from them unless you want to potentially lose out on money.
Ordered from Lacemade twice, with my first order there were no problems (quality was alright, sizing was a little off but could make it work). My second order though unfortunately one item was not included (out of three items ordered). It took me from november 2024 to february 2025 (!!) to finally get in touch with them to send me a replacement. I was ghosted for months, and it took me many emails to finally be able to reach them. Their customer service is very bad, if there are any problems with your order I wish you goodluck!
Package marked as delivered but never received - UPDATE: received 1 day after
UPDATE: 11-03-2025 The package has been finally delivered to me today (so 1 day after they marked it as delivered) togheter with another lacemade package that was scheduled to be delivered today, after I called the local hub (and it was not an easy task find the local hub and their phone number, because they are under different company names, but I'm a good researcher). Anyway, after I called, a lady told me that yesterday due to a tech problem no courier left the hub to deliver packages, and that both my packages should have been delivered to me today, which indeed happened at 14:20. So I rectify my review, I truly love lacemade clothes, but their total lack of communication and customer care, plus their questionable shipping partners, is really still pretty annoying.

Package sent to Italy (order #102413) with local HR PARCEL courier marked as delivered but I never received it!!! This horrible italian courier has hundreds of negative feedbacks on trustpilot since they use to mark packages as delivered when they are not, and now I lost 130 euros of items because this company uses a bad courier!! Not to mention lacemade never reply to emails!! They only replied once after tons of messages and emails. Horrible customer care and horrible shipping service. Unfortunately I was lucky to receive the first package so I made other orders that I'm afraid will not be delivered as well by that HR PARCEL! What a shame!!! I'm really so angry about that!!!

i purchased the red garnet corset dress
sizing is not the best, i am 70 around waist and 90 bust and i ordered L when i usually fit in M so that it could fit my bust. this was the right decision because they do not make alot of room for the bust - if you have a larger chest size up!!
it has corset boning around the waist but is loose there, i thought it would be okay as there is a bow in the back to adjust and it is better with that but would be nice if it fit snug already.
i might just sew it a bit tighter around the waist.
the zipper is a bit annoying, ive seen other reviews say this too, so i reckon if it fit very snug the zipper would be hard to do up
it looks the same as the images and is soo pretty so i am happy
The clothes are beautiful but the quality is abysmal. Anyone with a larger chest should be prepared to wear something under the dress even if it’s supposed to fit. The sleeves are tight, I wore it for several hours (mostly sitting) and came home to find several rips in the flimsy see through material. It came with visible piece of black thread sewn between the layers of dress which was super visible since it’s light pink. I bought matching corset and it gorgeous but don’t expect to sinch your waist at all because the corset string snapped when I tried to put it on.
I honestly have more problems but that’s all worth sharing
Ordered $400 worth of dresses and it's been three weeks: they do not respond to my emails, they outright ignore my messages on TikTok and Instagram, they never update the tracking beyond "Order is Confirmed." If you read the comments on their Instagram you'd encounter so many people with the same experience. This is borderline on a scam, just taking people's money and in return give them nothing like that.
Do Not order from this company.
Ordered 3 dresses which arrived a few days before Christmas. Unfortunately one did not fit and had to send it back. They took nearly two weeks to respond to the return request. The dress arrived at their returns facility mid January. To this day, I have not received my refund. I have reached out to them multiple times regarding the return. Nothing. The dresses are cute, I’ll give them that. But if you decide to buy from them you better hope they fit, otherwise you’ll just be out whatever you paid for them.
I ordered a dress on the 8th of January, and all was well until the 17th. It is currently the 3rd of March, so nearly 2 months from when I ordered it and it is STILL in the same place it was on the 17th of January. I reached out to LaceMade through the Shop app on the 9th of February to ask about my order and was told, “ i will check this with our carrier, plz kindly wait” I then had to wait a week for an update with the carrier which was simply, “ your package has been delayed, plz kindly wait dear” followed by the chat being disabled. I never received any emails regarding this delay, nor was I told how long this delay was going to be. I then emailed LaceMade on the 27th of February to ask about this dress that was STILL in the same spot, and was told, “ we have updated your order and your package is on the way” I have yet to see any movement from this order. I was very excited to order this dress and had high hopes of wearing it to a friends party in February, however that even has long passed. I find the unprofessionalism in customer service as well as their disappointing wait time to be saddening as I adore this companies designs. I advice anyone thinking of ordering from LaceMade to be cautious.

I ordered a down jacket a while ago and when it arrived in January it was way too small! I instantly got in contact to return the item and get my money back. I still have the receipt that I send my item back and followed the instructions that they told me to follow. The item arrived in the area where it should‘ve been shipped but due to customs fees they didn’t take my package and I‘ve tried to contact them multiple times via E-Mail and never got a reply. They STEAL from you!
I just want to let you know that when you order from lacemade and want to send your item back you will NEVER get your money back. I‘m so enraged to them blatantly ignoring me that I will take legal measures to get my money back. Never buy from Lacemade.
Ordered 400 dollars worth of merchandise on December 25th. It’s is currently going to be March 1st tomorrow and I have not received a shipping notification or coherent response other than to be patient. I would hope for an anticipated timeframe to reassure me my money has not been lost. Such a shame, I had high hopes.
Scam! I got my package after 2 months waiting then both of the dresses are too big, i wanted to return and they sent me an email saying that i HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COST OF RETURN WITH A TRACKING CODE?? Im leaving in Germany and have to send those dresses to New York, which will cost like 40-50€ to get a tracking code. They dont have any return label for customer. It means you wont have any chance to return them and get refund. This was terrible customer service i've ever had in my life. No one should order anything from them because you could never return the items if it doesn't fit you. No hope to get a refund :) Never go back this store again. SCAMMMMM!!!!!!
Beautiful design, but badly made. As soon as I tried the dress on and went to zip it up, the zip broke and came off the track, making the dress unwearable. I attempted to fix this myself which I was unable to do. I contacted Lacemade the same day to tell them, they replied asking for pictures (which I then sent) and they have been ignoring me since. I contacted Klarna and they have paused the order to investigate, but this seems to be a recurring issue with this company taking money from customers and never coming back to them. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately!
I ordered a pre order almost 3 months ago, after 1,5 months(longer than the indicated time on the site), I sent messages and emails asking for updates. They ended up canceling my order without giving me answers,and without me asking them to, and now it's almost been 3 months and I still haven't gotten my money back. I opened a dispute on paypal and until now they still haven't even replied to them.
I get it, the dresses are cute, but it's SERIOUSLY NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
If the dress comes remotely ill-fitting, your only options are to stick with the dress you have or pay twice as much to get the right size. The website claims you can get a full refund or exchange within the first two weeks, but that's completely false advertising.
In my excitement, I bought many dresses from this store and submitted a couple of returns and exchanges, only to discover too late that they ONLY GIVE PARTIAL REFUNDS. It doesn't say it anywhere on the website, but they gave me around ~50% refunds and exchanges, despite me following every single stupid rule in their refund policy. (And MOST were exchanges, I wasn't just buying dresses and returning them all the next day.)
More importantly, my multiple emails to their customer service team went ignored (over several weeks, the tone initially very polite and complimentary). They ONLY started to reply after I began complaining about the horrific customer service in the website chat feature and in private messages to the shop's official Instagram page.
I've never seen such truly apathetic, unhelpful customer service. The customer service team ignored me for months on end and when they finally did reply, they only answered half the message and fully ignored everything I say about the partial refunds. They insisted I would be refunded the full amount once it hit my bank account, but obviously that's not what happened, and they haven't answered me since I confirmed and proved it wasn't the full amount.
DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. You may think you'll get lucky and end up with the right size of dress, but I read a ton of reviews online saying that Lacemade runs small, only to receive my dresses and find that they run large on me.
If you want a dress that fits well--or that won't cause you migraines and cost twice as much as it should--Lacemade is NOT the shop for you. Shoppers beware.
(Also, for the record, I'm not just a troll/hater lol. I'm not a frequent online shopper, but the difference that customer service makes is HUGE. Wonderland by Lillian is much pricier, but their customer service team is AMAZING, so kind and accommodating, if you can afford their dresses instead I can't recommend them enough.)

The company is not issuing refunds even though they accept the returns. I've been emailing and dm'ing them, but they will not respond. I have pictures and receipts that two of my returns were delivered on Feburary 6th and 7th, with no follow up. Do not trust this company.
I recently ordered beautiful dress from Lacemade, and it tore on the first wear. I was wearing it for an hour at church and that’s it— this is bizarre. The material must be bad or something. I have reached out to Lacemade twice on email and once on Instagram and nobody has replied to me, it’s been 4 days now. I’m upset and feel like I wasted my money.
