The roleplays are practical and I like choosing different topics. Sometimes the ai answers are too long for my level, but I still feel more confident speaking Dutch now.

The app has decent content but the AI talking heads in my experience are always completely out of sync with the audio. I don’t think they are saying the same things at all. Also it repeats words in the speaking practice way too much. I had a whole lesson that just went back and forth between two words. And I often get an “encouraging” note saying I am “one step further from speaking Spanish fluently”. Umm, I think you mean closer? I even have an AI who speaks Spanish with a distinct American accent. Why would I want that?
