Refund decisions are typically based on the condition of an item when it's sent back, and we recognize that "installation attempt" versus "use" can be a genuinely difficult line to draw fairly. Squealing after a compressor install is usually caused by belt tension, alignment, or pulley issues rather than the compressor itself, but if it's persisting even after replacing the belts, we'd like to discuss with you to see if we help get this sorted out.
