Nicely done blade and thru spline....the blade shape is excellent for cutting veges and fruit.....the blade hook at the bottom where your finger rests on the handle is a design flaw sadly.....the included guard was found too late to keep me from a minor cut on the inside of my 2nd finger....but that aside, well done as one would expect from Japanese workmanship

Sent the wrong knives Though I had to converse with at least 3 people in their customer service, each was positive and respectful. A very good compromise was reached. I wish to say that Matsato responded quickly to my poor review, I.e., on the ball, heads up action. They also allowed communication via e-mail, making it convenient for me., thus, I’ve raised my revalue to 4 stars.

there was a mistake in original shipping of my order. I have been in contact with your company in regard to the matter. They stated that your company would resend the product as I have already paid for the product. As of yet, 3 weeks later I have not received the order or have been contacted by your company. Wonderful knife. I will buy again. Wish I’d ordered the sharpening stone. Most likely will purchase this week. We have a human grade fresh dog food company that we source our proteins farm to bowl fresh so we do cut some of our meats up and chicken up by hand and this by far is one of the best chef knives I’ve ever had. Highly recommend save me a lot of time cutting up our select meats and chickens. Winnie’s Fresh Pawz Kitchen is sold on this product!

Tried a different brand/shape with my Matsato purchase and the build quality is extremely nice. The blade it self is good and sharpe and durable. My wife( pro) and I( req) both cook and we're a bit harder on tools and these are living up to the hype.Best $ I've spent in a while.

Large knife chipped they told me it was faulty & they would send a replacement! I received a pocket knife as a replacement which was not the knife originally ordered! BUYER BEWARE! I will never order again! Dee

Knives were shipped covered in toxic grease and not packaged in any protective covering. I almost sliced my hand opening the bo. When returning the unused product they refused claiming misuse and rust. The knives were never used. Its a fraudulent company. Edit: you have all of my information and are playing the same games you have for months. Your company is fraudulent!
