I had a emergency and feel behind on my payments. They were super with me. They worked with me to catch up with 3 easy payments. They were not like super high payments either. Then they sent me a letter congratulations I did it. They made it easy to catch up and were nice about it. Thank you

KEPT OUR DEPOSIT AFTER DENYING APPLICATION

When you apply they take your deposit before doing the approval credit check. Yes they check your credit score. the problem we had is we made a substantial deposit equivalent to a month's wages then figured we put bills on it and pay them off to build credit. Well they were quick to take our money then denied us and KEPT THE MONEY. not kept as in pending in our bank then later reversed...just KEPT IT!

finally paid down to ZERO balance and get cancelled for "inactivity"

Nice reply Worst CC Company I have ever dealt with pay your card down and get dropped .... I DID call and was told I would have to reapply like I was never a customer - that is no help at all - Previously I paid down a couple cards including Merrick and I kept my Merrick card for emergencies or to (in this case) help fund a much needed vacation - Got it to 0 balance working to build my credit It expires 6-27 Today(7-15) without any notice I find out it was cancelled for "inactivity" They will bleed you dry smiling with their insane high interest rates but God forbid you keep a 0 balance for any length of time - You are a number to them, not a person. Awful way to treat people. So now vacation is off Thanks Merrick

I'm so grateful to Merrick Bank for approving my recent credit card application. Not only was the approval quick, but the credit limit they granted me was much larger than I expected. The application process was straightforward and quick. Very happy with my experience so far!

You guys gave me a chance on giving me a credit card and then later increased my credit limit. I just want to thank you guys!

PIN change

PIN change. Issue changing the PIN online. Called customer service. Long story short....you verbally give the new PIN number you want to the representative over the phone instead of using the keypad and type it in!!!! I told the representative...I will type in in the keypad and was told...you have to verbally give me the 4 digit PIN number. Had no choice but to do so and then immediately changed it online. I called back, spoke to another customer service rep and same procedure; verbally give the representative the PIN number and then you can use your Merrick card and PIN if needed. I don't like that at all..we all know, including the Merrick Bank reps....you don't give your PIN over the phone. Luckly I had access to my Merrick card...PIN restored and was able to reset it online. That needs to END now Merrick bank. You don't provide your new PIN number verbally over the phone. Use the keypad.

A very user friendly bank, which these days is almost impossible to find. I have a few cards with other banks and they all seem to treat their customers with indifference at least. I always think of that difference when I use MB. Thanks!

Merrick is a nice credit card

Merrick is a nice credit card. Only Con is the interest rate is too high. Which makes it harder for you to pay off your charged balances. Because you'll mainly paying monthly interest instead of actually paying off the items you've charged.
