We purchased umbrellas and bases on…
We purchased umbrellas and bases on June 5th from Midtown Umbrellas (Canadian company ) for a party during the week of June 21. Unfortunately, our delivery was incomplete, and customer service was unhelpful. They simply read the same updates on the tracking number and said they would look into the delivery and call us back. We never received any callbacks and had to follow up ourselves(5 calls later) . It turned out that the rest of our order was held up in customs. I asked them to ship a base, promising to return the other base once I received it, but I received no response.
The final portion of our order was delivered three weeks after the initial order. When my husband complained, the company’s response was, “Not our issue.”

Two Swilt umbrellas
We ordered two Swilt umbrellas. Very high quality, quick delivery. The unexpected was the weight. We needed to buy heavy duty stands, so no problem, just that we didn't know in advance. Would I buy these umbrellas again? Yes!
I have ordered 4 times over the last 2 years - 3 umbrellas for each deck and a base - and have nothing but positive to say about this company. Deliveries have been right on time (or early), the quality is excellent and a recent interaction with customer service was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend Midtown!

This is my second midtown umbrella
This is my second midtown umbrella. Our pool is on an open field with high winds and I was tired of loosing umbrellas. I ordered the first one 2 years ago and it has worked wonderful, so I ordered a second one.
This is the nicest umbrella I’ve ever had. Super easy to set up and use and it is lovely to look at. My first shade became damaged and was within the ) year window. It was replaced right away, and the new shade went in super easily. Great customer service.

This is my second time leaving a review for Midtown Umbrellas, which says a lot because I’m not usually someone who takes the time to write reviews. However, this company has truly impressed me with its exceptional customer service and commitment to standing behind its products.
A little over a month after purchasing two umbrella bases for my pool, I noticed that one was beginning to show signs of rust. Naturally, I was disappointed and reached out to customer service to see what could be done. Robert responded promptly, apologized for the issue, and explained that they had identified a problem with a particular batch that was prone to rusting. Most importantly, he assured me that the issue had been resolved and immediately arranged to send replacement bases at no cost.
What really stood out to me was how straightforward and hassle-free the entire process was. There was no pushback, no endless back-and-forth—just a company taking responsibility and making things right. That level of customer care is increasingly rare these days.

Great product, better than I expected for strength and quality. AND I ordered it the DAY BEFORE it went on the Dad's day 15% off sale. (that's my luck) BUT upon inquiring about the discount, they credited back to me the 15%, which made me very happy towards Midtownumbrellas and their customer service.
I had a problem with one of my umbrellas I bought a few years ago. The team immediately took care of it and replaced what I needed. There was no charge. They honor their warranty, stand behind their product, and respond to customer problems. That is why I have purchased 3 tilt umbrellas and my daughter then purchased a large cantilever. I’m so happy with this company!
Just got the grand Square cantilever - terrific design and incredibly easy to install on the easy water base - my husband and I are well over 70 and we put this all together ourselves in just a few simple steps. Love the shade and the look!

We love the Midtown umbrellas. We have two at a location in WA that we use all the time. Because of our appreciation for the umbrellas, my daughter just bought one for her new house in Southern California, and my wife and I will be buying one in a few months when our Southern California back yard gets the patio expanded. We purchased 6 large umbrellas and…
We purchased 6 large umbrellas and stands from Midtown Umbrellas for a fairly windy public space in downtown Kingston. They have been put to the test and are working wonderfully. They are also super easy to maneuver up and down and move around because of the tiny wheels on the stands. You don't need a lot of strength to do any of it. Highly recommend.
