When using the Merge function, the first time through it did not restore any messages & lost all the messages on my new phone.
The second time through it did restore all my old messages, but I have still lost all my new messages since my new phones was activated.
The instructions are not always clear as you are not sure of you are meant to be doing a step on the new phone or old phone.

Thought this would help with move from android to iPhone. Downloaded one part then had to do another. Said 7 days money back guarantee. When tried to contact ai said couldnyt get refund as had not done in time. Then removed ability to appeal. It wasn't a renewal I had bought hour earlier. Probably the worst customer service communication process I've ever had. Don't touch with a barge pole unless you really really really tech savvy.

An overall helpful and well functioning app concerning iPhone, as far as I can tell. I came upon one major issue: the photos from my iPhone lost their original time stamp (that is, the date the photos were taken) and were all assigned the date of transfer to my laptop. I repeated the transfer twice but with the same unacceptable result. I ended up using the Windows Photo app (which has its own problems) for the photo transfer. Some minor English spelling mistakes here and there could be easily corrected. Other iPhone related transfer functionality performed fine.

Getting your WhatsApp data from iOS to Android is such a nightmare and I don't understand why a billion dollars company like Meta wouldn't improve this. But at least with this 3rd party app I managed to do it. The user experience feels ominous at times (I had to deactivate various security measures in order to proceed) and I hope that my devices are still safe now. 🤞 But at least I have all my chats and media on my new phone

It was not as simple as described. Too many settings on the Android to change and not identical as the screenshots. At the end the transfer was successful but the names of all contatcs in WhatsApp were wrong, so I needed to edit every contact and renamed it.
Additional Note: I must say the application did its job: all WhatsApp data, including photos, videos, emoticons, animated gifs, and messages, were successfully transferred. But the names of the contacts were swapped. I had to edit them and renamed to the correct ones. Fortunately their phone number, profile photos and messages were just fine. I really appreciate the interest from the support team on resolving and researching on the issue. Thank you. The transfer was Android to iPhone.

They declined their "Satisfaction Money Back Guarantee"
I have had no issues with other apps produced by this company but their Mobile Trans Pro was a complete disappointment. They state it manages all facets of iPhone transfers but this is false. It will not allow you to delete photos from your iPhone via their app on a Windows PC. It is not an iPhone issue because their competitor, "Photo Transfer App", does this without any issue. Wondershare states they offer a satisfaction money back guarantee but that is false. I emailed them twice with the issue I have stated here and requested a refund of my 50 plus dollars. They declined stating it was a technical issue. I asked for their satisfaction money back guarantee and they declined. I have been a loyal customer for more than 15 years, but I will never purchase from them again.
7-24-25 Update:
After seeing my Review here, Wondershare replied that refunding my payment was an available option. However, I have attempted several times to ask them for the refund. I even sent a screenshot of their offer to Refund my payment. But, every time I did so, I received an AI Bot reply from Wondershare saying I was not eligible for a Refund. So, I have less respect for them now than even before. Telling me they would refund and then sending an AI reply saying NO Refund every time I contacted them asking for the Refund. I am done with ever doing business with Wondershare again and I recommend others to avoid them.

After hearing so many good things about MobileTrans, I decided to try it for transferring my WhatsApp chats. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as expected. A lot of messages didn’t show up, and I had to start from scratch multiple times. It wasted a lot of my time and wasn’t worth it in the end.

Thankfully I was able to move my google drive backup to iPhone, but I wasn't able to merge them (google drive and old iCloud backup)

I had to revise this review when Wondershare declined their satisfaction money back guarantee. NOTE: Their MobileTrans windows PC app will not allow you to delete photos from your iPhone within the app. Their competitor, Photo Transfer App, does this without issue.

going thru the purchase phase, my selections accumulated to my choices each time. final bill was $111.xx. had to restart my computer. reload MT and start again. finally got 1 selection and bought it.
started to use MT and had so many problems i can't list them here. Didn't get answers to my problems, had to keep trying different things till something worked!! What i did was select Phone to PC as an option and it worked - never directed to do this from MT
