I’m trying to transfer whatsapp data from samsung to an iphone. The transfer goes well till the restore phase. It never restores. I have tried multiple times via direct phone to phone and also from computer to phone. I don’t know what else to do. Or where the issue lies.

Not for Xiaomi users and no refund after you buy no matter what!
First of all, it was mentioned that the software is free, but once you make a backup and delete everything from your phone, you find out that you need to pay to restore your data!
Shady technics.. anyways, I paid and the program failed to restore my Xiaomi phone so I ended up losing ALL my data!
If you are a Xiaomi user, stay away from these scammers because they refused to refund my payment even if it was only few hours after buying it.

Bought the summer sale MobileTrans MobileTrans 1 year (4 Tools included) product. Wanted to transfer data from older iPhone to new Android device using my Macbook.
-Iphone connected OK but then jammed at 1 minute remaining. Had to start again a few times but eventually it worked
-Destination Android phone (Oneplus) did not connect at all despite me USB debugging and following all their instructions, after trying almost everything I changed all the USB settings and finally selecting the option for USB tethering worked
-To be fair the WhatsApp did transfer although it was much fiddlier than they advertise...
-The one big improvement on this software would be to make sure the instructions are up-to-date and to adjust the interface so that it is easy to use.

I was successful in transferring my whatsapp data from my samsung to my iphone using Wondershare, however the process was not easy to follow and took quite some time to be completed.
I have had several devices I've wanted to back up or transfer data from and every time I try to use Wondershare I have to uninstall and reinstall the software. I have a purchased plan but the login fails every time i attempt to use the software unless I uninstall and reinstall again.
The process was really easy and straightforward until I needed to connect to my iphone. It said a message should come up on my iphone after connecting it to my android but nothing came up. The cable definitely works as I've been using it to change my iphone so not sure what's going on. As I've paid £17 for this and it seems to be the best option for a very time-intensive and frustrating process it's really disappointing. Please help!
Update: Wondershare reached out and it has now been sorted! It took awhile to get there, but Sophie finally sorted it out for me. I had to use MobileTrans instead of Wutsapper in the end (they kindly gave me a license for this) and my iPhone now has all my Whatsapp data on it, thank goodness. Thank you for your help!

this software isn’t the best design but with email help it will do the job. There is probably no better way to complete this task.

Did cater to the whatsapp transfer requirement. They have multiple products but i used mobile trans after failing with wutsapper. Nonetheless, mobiletrans was helpful.

Didn't get everything, but it was more than good enough
I subscribed to the 1-year WhatsApp Transfer plan and it was easy to use. Didn't take long for me to transfer from my Huawei Nova 2i to my iPhone 6s.
While I didn't get it exactly to a T (some missing items were my saved stickers, and replied to messages), everything was as per. So it's all good.
A little pricey for me (could be due to the conversion rates) but for the peace of mind and with all the trusted reviews, I guess the price is fair.
Would definitely use this again if I ever need to transfer WhatsApp from Android to iOS.

I couldn't backup viber from my Samsung j7 phone. After selecting Viber > Android > Samsung > J series the application couldn't detect my phone. Even after unplugging and re-plugging it several times. After that I followed the instructions to activate USB-debugging on the phone. Even after enabling it the application couldn't detect my phone.

I paid almost 50€ to transfer from android to iPhone.
I didn’t work, only with contacts. It was blocked at the pictures transfer and didn’t move one. Tried several times always the same.
I lost my money and had to find another solution.

Backed up messages, photos, and notes from an iphone 4 and restored them to an iphone 12 pro max (did not have access to a desktop at the time so I could not use the "transfer" part of the app. Almost everything restored to the iphone 12, however, most the Notes had html tag in them. Soooo annoying!
