For the return process, the option to keep the item for a partial refund was offered only as an alternative to help avoid the cost and inconvenience of an international return. Customers are still able to proceed with a return when eligible under our return policy. We also want to clarify that the Jamaica, New York address is a forwarding/logistics address and not our return warehouse, which is why returns may need to be sent to a different location. Regarding customs declarations, we regret any confusion caused by the instructions you received. Customers should complete customs forms accurately and in accordance with carrier and customs requirements. The estimated $30–$45 return shipping cost is paid directly to the shipping carrier, not to us. Because return shipping can be expensive, we also offered an alternative partial refund if you preferred to keep the dress, simply to help reduce your overall loss. You are not being forced to keep the item, and if you prefer to return it, we can continue assisting you with the return process.
