Booking travel on Navan is easy and efficient. As a Travel Technology Analyst we can set policy and our employees have a way to easily book travel.
Unnecessary, useless, expensive
This company is a middleman that adds no value other than pitching corporate T&E departments on spending caps and making their lives easier. The employee experience is awful. Their expense platform is abysmal. Their travel booking experience is equally bad, yet they still insist on attaching fees to every transaction and steering you towards the hotels where they get paid kickbacks. Avoid at all costs. Just give your people corporate credit cards.

We as a group of different individual companies, is great to be able to have all expenses, trips, etc in the same place. The accounting team has a better perspective of the expenses.

Completely hopeless app and operation. They must be kidding themselves regarding low prices on business travel. Kayak beat them on every level. Quite simply they are way off. Really poor enrolment experience too.
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. Due to a Navan bug the plane ticket booked had incorrect contact information. I called more than 24hrs before they flight to have the issues corrected, they lied and said it was handled and if I went to the front counter its would be fine, and that they had a note left. I'm here and there is no note, no record Navan even called the airline, and the ticket was rejected. The booking process was terrible, customer service was horrible, and this cost my company a lot of money. I would highly advise anyone to never use Navan for any reason whatsoever.
Not great at all for business travel
Not great at all for business travel. Navan is so focused on getting the cheapest prices by any means possible, it creates inconveniences that add up to a bad travel experience. When booking fares, I found that flights that were more convenient were listed as sold out even though they were available on other travel sites. What was available to me were the inconvenient times with lower fares. Sucks if you're forced to use Navan by your corporate travel policy. On an airfare that I did book, I was in one of the last boarding groups even though my partner - who booked her seat next to mine through another site paid the same fare and was in an earlier boarding group. Not a big deal until you see that the airline is disallowing carry-ons for later boarding groups because the flight is full. Finally , on two separate occasions, I've had hotel clerks question how I got my rate because I was ineligible for it. Thankfully they honored it but not great to hear when traveling for work. I'm going to ask my office to switch their corporate travel partner.
Great experience
The adoption of Navan has streamlined the travel booking services across the company, not only for the travelers, as well as for fin-admin teammates, with great reporting and dashboards. Navan is a user-friendly travel platform, clean UI, and good UX. For event organizers also offers great resources to make it easy the user experience and budget control. In the last year, since we adopted Navan, the platform is always evolving with new features and enhacements.

Navan makes the travel for my team a breeze and a great experience. I will highly recommend the service.
Generally very good
Generally very good. Lots of flexibility with regard to approvals and works well operationally. Only frustrations relate to how difficult it is to change a flight booking - this normally involves 45 minutes spent chatting online with a support assistant and frustratingly the same difficulties repeat every time. If this could be fixed it would be a 5 star review.
