Auto-generated from all reviews of this business. For reference only.I bought the gunnar cleaver and I am very happy with my purchase, it looks great, it's well balanced and is very sharp it slice's through meat like a hot knife through butter. I am planning on getting more of their knives!!!
The Gunnar cleaver is a beast in the best way, Greenleaf — well balanced, wicked sharp, and hungry for work. "Hot knife through butter" is the standard we forge to. See you at the next addition! — Andy @ NorthernKnife

These knives are very well crafted. I love the viking theme. I got them for my collection to pass down to my grandson. They are prettier than I expected.

I like the 4 knives I got. They are quality heavy knives. I loved the quality of the rosewood handle.
Quality steel and rosewood handles — the pairing that makes each knife one of a kind, Justin; no two handles are alike. Enjoy all four! — Andy @ NorthernKnife
The knives are heavy duty and well made. They are very sharp and cut very well through everything. Not only do they have really unique designs they perform! If you’re looking for a nice set of quality kitchen knives that are unlike any other set you’ve ever had, give them a try. You do have to had wash and dry them by hand.
Unique designs that actually perform — that's the balance we chase, Desiree. And good advice: hand wash, towel dry, and these blades stay sharp for the long haul. Thanks for the recommendation! — Andy @ NorthernKnife
Ordered first knife for my husband which was the Loki, just an amazing gift, he loved it so much he had me order one for his nephew's BD, along with two other knives which Northern Knife gave me a nice discount for being a return customer that I could not refuse. And I also bought all the sheaths that goes with them which is the only way to store these knifes. I could not be happier with my purchases or the service that I have received from this company. Have and will again highly recommend Northern Knife for anyone looking for unique cutlery. Wendy
Wendy, from one Loki to a family of them — plus the sheaths to keep them honest — you've built a proper collection! Return customers are the heart of this brand; thank you for every recommendation. — Andy @ NorthernKnife
I love my Loki knife! I use it for everything from trimming to the final cuts! It arrived sharp and is still just as sharp after constant use!
Trimming to final cuts on one blade — that's the Loki doing exactly what it was forged for, Alex. Sharp on arrival, sharp after constant use: hand-forged high-carbon steel at work. Thanks! — Andy @ NorthernKnife
The products are well made and comfortable to use, just wish the sheath had a belt loop to use for hunting.
Thanks, Tad! And noted on the belt loop — that's genuinely useful feedback as we keep improving the sheaths. Glad the blades themselves are earning their keep out there. — Andy @ NorthernKnife

These knives look great and are very sharp. They are heavier and bigger than I thought they would be. So far I’ve only used them to cut up onions and vegetables. Haven’t got to try them to cut up meat yet.
Thank you for your review! We're glad you're enjoying the sharpness and look of your knives. The weight and size are actually part of the design — they give you more control and power, especially when you get to cutting meat. We think you'll really feel the difference then. Happy cooking! 🔪 — The NorthernKnife Team
I was captivated by the Feather Knife and knew I had to have one. While ordering, I decided to also add the Bjorn and Loki. The ordering process was simple and my order arrived quickly. I was impressed by the craftsmanship of all three knives. They are well balanced and have a solid feel. I used them immediately on prepping a brisket and was extremely pleased with the sharpness and ease of trimming the brisket.
