I can not recall very many times that I have truly been impressed by the quality of a mail or internet order as I recently was when I received my Northern “Loki “ series knives .Upon their timely arrival, when they arrived in truly quality packaging, I was impressed. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are beautiful and beyond description.
I ordered 4 identical knives giving 3 of them to my life long hunting partners who were absolutely floored by them. They all remarked how incredibly impressed they were with their knife and repeatedly expressed their appreciation. The smiles on their faces told the tale. They were “Happy Campers”.
It is my intention to start a tradition and present them each with another Northern Knife next Holiday season. The quality, materials, and craftsmanship are truly beyond compare. Thank you Northern Knife.

Northern Knife is a US company marketing a knife that is produced in China and drop shipped to the buyer. This is a big reason it takes so long to receive the knife. LeeKnives is a manufacturer in China that will manufacture, put your label on it and drop ship.
The disappointing thing is Northern Knife out of Delaware (not Northern Knives from Alaska) is not truthfull in their model and they are not a Canadian company, money goes out of country. Hard to trace ownership.
This is not an American made Knife..
And if I done my research earlier I would not have purchased from this company and could have purchased direct from China bypassing the USA buisness.
This company is deceitful in their actions.
The knife is great Chinese manufacturing and quality but not Made in the USA :) ...

The Odin and Blacked Out Loki knives have renewed my enthusiasm for prep work in the kitchen. I bought them as a Christmas present to myself this year and couldn't be happier. I no longer feel like I am doing a chore. I am enjoying chopping things and cutting and shredding food as well. Northern Knife is a great company as their communication was outstanding from the time I ordered to the time I received the knives. I would recommend anyone who is bored with the same ol' same ol' in the kitchen to start with a Loki. It will change things for you.

I did have an issue with my order and what was delivered. Response was very delayed, about 1 week, although it was Christmas week. Once my problem was heard, it was rectified immediately, hence the 4 stars, other wise it would be 5 stars! The knives and accessories that I purchased were perfect!!

My Husband loved the Knifes. He got them right before Christmas. He was able to use them for Christmas Dinner and showed them off.
We bought two of the same and then 3 different ones.
The only complaint I would have is the Gunnar Cleaver Sheath doesn't match our other Sheaths. The other ones that I orders are nice, heavy duty looking and looks strong. The Gunnar Cleaver Sheath just looks thin and cheap. That's the only reason I gave it a 4. Besides that the knifes are great!

I saw an ad for these knives and thought I’d give them a try.. ordered before thanksgiving to ensure they worked be here in time for surprise Christmas gifts. Was I wrong! After 2 weeks still no confirmation of my order..I waited another week and messaged the company.. Mary made it right and expedited my order to make sure they got here on time!! Was I impressed.. the quality is also amazing!!

I had never ordered from this company, and a few weeks before Christmas saw an ad and decided to order a few knives as gifts. There was a significant delay in processing and shipping - it took almost two weeks for the items to get shipped and I missed getting them in time for Christmas gifts as I had planned. That was pretty disappointing, and I pretty much decided that I would return the items for a refund and avoid this company in the future due to the lengthy processing - WAY - as in many, many days longer than what the website claimed. The knives came and when I looked at them they were decent quality and after showing them to one of the people I was gifting to, he really liked the Loki knife and wanted to keep it. In the past, he has worked in a meat department cutting meat - so he is well aware of what is a "good" knife. Needless to say, I did not return the knives!
