I feel like I was provided with all the knowledge and medication study guides needed to be prepared for the PTCE. Anytime I had any sort of issues Dr.Emmel responded to me super fast and was always very kind! Would recommend to friend or anybody wanting to complete a PTCB certified program.

I have found the pharmacy tech scholar program to be both affordable and easy for me to attend in my daily life. When I first started my class, I was not employed in a pharmacy and so I was able to attend the online live session with Aaron Emmel and other students for live Q&A sessions and practice test questions. About a month after I started my class, I was employed in a pharmacy setting and due to my new work schedule and the time zone difference I was unable to attend the online sessions. Maybe they will have a variety of times in the future to make it a little more accessible to a greater variety of students.
I found the modules, very helpful, I appreciate the use of slides and audio narration and the closed captioning was excellent. I did notice a few minor errors, especially with the audio narration. It was often cut off at the end before the narrator was finished speaking.
I also enjoy the textbook chapters. I found the author of the textbook, very engaging, especially in the math sections. You should know that there is definitely information taken from the textbook reading so read them thoroughly and take copious notes.
This has been a excellent experience for a self paced class!

I had a great experience with Pharmacy Tech Scholar. The course was well organized, easy to follow, and covered a wide range of topics that were directly relevant to the CPhT/PTCE exam. I especially appreciated how the lessons broke down difficult concepts into simple explanations, making it much easier to understand pharmacy law, calculations, medications, and pharmacy operations.
One of my favorite parts of the course was the practice questions and quizzes. They closely reflected the style of questions on certification exams and helped me identify areas where I needed more review. The study materials were comprehensive without feeling overwhelming, and I felt much more confident in my knowledge as I progressed through the program.
The flexibility of being able to study at my own pace was also a huge advantage. It allowed me to balance my coursework with my other responsibilities while still making consistent progress.
If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to include even more practice exams that closely simulate the actual PTCE experience, along with additional explanations for why each answer is correct or incorrect. That would make an already excellent program even better.
Overall, I highly recommend Pharmacy Tech Scholar to anyone preparing for pharmacy technician certification. The course provided me with the knowledge, confidence, and preparation I needed, and I truly appreciate the effort that went into creating such a valuable learning experience.

Excellent Pharmacy Tech Program at Affordable Price
I was looking for a Pharmacy Tech program that was affordable and high-quality (due to the fact that I have no pharmacy experience.) I wanted to find something that was thorough, professional and complete, with instructor support at an affordable price. I didn't think such a program existed until I found this one. Dr. Emmel is kind and professional. The e-learning course he taught is excellent. It is composed of 100 modules with a lot of resources to help me succeed such as pre-test and post-test, summary exams, and PTCB mimic exam which you can take many times, e-book library, virtual classroom which is scheduled about every week and virtual classroom recording if you missed the class, He is also available to help via text message. I appreciated the course and his response to my messages which was quick. This course is worth it. Highly recommended Pharmacy Tech Scholar.

The sheer amount of information covered in this program can feel overwhelming for someone just stepping into the pharmaceutical industry, but it’s way better than feeling overwhelmed trying to learn everything on the job. At the time of writing this review, I’ve been a pharmacy tech for about 3 months, and I’ve been able to really thrive thanks to this program! This was literally life-changing for me as I took this course in the process of switching careers.
I really enjoyed this online pharmacy course. The video lectures were excellent and covered very important information pertaining to pharmacy. I appreciated the additional optional readings that were recommended — they helped me better understand the material.
I also liked how the instructor reaches out to students with questions and checks in to see how they’re doing. The live lectures were a nice option (though I could never catch them due to my schedule).
One suggestion: I’d love to see more fun games added to help remember the material. I especially enjoyed playing the games for the medication chapter, and think more of those would be really helpful.
Overall, a great course!

Overall, I am satisfied with the content and instruction. The material is well-organized, clear, and effective in building a strong foundation for the exam.
One minor area for improvement: while most PTCE preparation focuses on the Top 200 drugs, this course includes information on the Top 300 drugs. In my opinion, this may be somewhat excessive for PTCB prep and could add an unnecessary study burden for learners who are trying to focus on the most high-yield material.
