Between the live video lectures (which are saved to watch at later dates) and the easiness of reaching out to Dr. Emmel with any questions you may have for any of the modules you learn. I am very happy I have gone with this course compared to others I had considered.
For the price, content, and honestly comfort of being able to use the student homepage to post questions and have other students reach out and give their own experience along with Dr. Emmel. 11/10 ^-^

I had a great experience with Pharmacy Tech Scholar. The course was very comprehensive and easy to follow. Being able to go back into the course and review past material was a great benefit. Dr. Emmel is a great instructor. I really appreciated the online classrooms and easy communication when I had questions about the course or exam. He was very polite and professional and even gave me some extra information about pharmacy opportunities in my area. I passed the exam on my first try, and would recommend the course to others!

Hello, and many thanks again for providing such a thorough and complete course! The structuring, composition of course material, activities, readings and more, have all been vital tools aiding me in my journey to complete this course. As mentioned in my previous review, I have no criticism to offer (this, again, has been a fantastic course), though I do have one suggestion. I operate on a visual-basis, especially when learning new information, so the integration of word-image association in this course may serve as an additional facet of the preparation that, not only may help students retain more of the material in less time, but also help them understand what certain things look like and their function.
Everything perfect for me. I like the way learning detail explanation all the topics, very good reference material, good study tips and great communication with our lecturer.
PharmacyTechScholar.com is a perfect choice for anyone who may have received previous instruction on some of the topics touched on in the PTCE(i.e. lab experience) or who is looking to self-pace their learning from the start. Dr. Emmel's expertise in pharmacy and with the PTCE itself is apparent throughout the entire course, and the information he provides goes beyond the confines of the PTCE topics while staying succinct. Audio and video quality in the lectures is excellent from start to finish.

Tech scholar prepared me well for PTCE. I developed confidence by navigating through the entire course. I passed the exam in first attempt. Thanks Tech scholar.
Lessons address different learning styles.Exercises give you more confidence.
This course was really helpful in that I was able to get into the right mindset and with the most useful information possible to pass my PTCE, now this is my own personal experience but it was the best way for me to get to passing, thank you for Dr. Emmel and the course.
Very Concise and Well-Formatted Pharmacy Technician Course
I spent a bit of time researching different available pharmacy technician courses before settling on this one. I am very thankful I chose to go with the Pharmacy Technician Scholar course because it presented all of the information in a very accessible format, and the lectures were never too long. The website layout is one aspect I really liked, and the progress bar always kept me motivated. The lectures were all very informative, and I liked how the material was not just read directly from a PowerPoint slide. Overall, this course has provided a fantastic experience in preparing me to take the PTCE, and I would recommend it to others looking for a pharmacy technician course.

I was initially hesitant to enroll in a fully online PTCE preparation class, but this course from Pharmacy Tech Scholar has made me a convert! The lecture presentations are straightforward and i appreciated the 'helpful hints' on memorizing certain bits of information. It's easy to watch the lectures and then go back through the slide deck to take notes at your own pace. The supplemental readings are on-target and were helpful in reinforcing information presented in the lectures. The course also has flash cards for most chapters, so you can quiz yourself before taking the chapter exams, as well as a YouTube channel for extra math practice! The instructor was always available through the messaging system and responded in a timely manner, so i never felt 'alone' when taking this course. I do wish there were more 'activities' associated with the chapters on medications, as it's a significant volume of information that needs to be memorized, and i found that the activities that were offered to be super-beneficial in memorization. With careful notetaking and good study habits, anyone taking this course will be in an excellent position to pass the PTCE on the first try!

The course highlights in each chapter exams played a vital role in bringing back to memory the lessons drawn from each chapter in the book and supported by the videos which prove to be an inspiration for success. The most challenging part I went through was the relation of the drug names with their generic counterparts and their use. Hopefully everyone should be able to pass if extra effort is employed towards thorough study and detailed look at the exams in each chapter.
My experience with Pharmacy Scholar has been great! It's everything like being in a classroom, I'm doing the work in my field already, and its great education. Dr. Emmel is great at what he does, his teaching is phenomenal. Highly Recommend for career path.
