Great product, but Proven isn't keeping up with the science of the planet
Love this product so much. Especially love that it was founded and is led by an Asian American woman! A couple things though: 1. They determine air quality in your zip code based on averages from the last 10 years of NOAA readings. Living in the Mountain West, where pollution and fires have gotten exponentially worse in the last several years, their data collection feels flawed. 2. While we're talking climate change-- their containers do not appear to be recyclable. They're shiny and sexy and sleek, but it feels painful and ridiculous to have to trash these every time the product is out. The Proven brand is all about cutting edge skincare science... why not be on the cutting edge of sustainability too? I'd love to see an option where we can actually reuse the containers.
I like Proven overall. The product has been very gentle on my skin, and I'm happy that the ingredients in the product are not having a negatively adverse effect on my skin - I believe this is because the product ingredients are personalized to meet my body's specific biochemical needs.
I will say, however, that I am not the MOST content with my overall results. I'm not saying its the products fault, as there are factors in my personal life that have probably contributed to this (going back to school, thus=less sleep, stress...). My facial pores around my my nose and cheek area appear to be a bit bigger than they should NATURALLY be. One thing I WISH you guys offered is the option to select a facial serum with circular pads we could use to wipe dirt out of our pores. I've used Arbonne's version of this before, and it did SUCH A GREAT JOB with shrinking my pores and making my face look baby smooth!
Other than that, I'd have to say that the cleanser and face creams are quite nice for daily use. :)
So I have tried so many skincare products in the past. I have one used 8 products at the same time to get an ok outcome.
With PROVEN, I only need to use 3!

The daily moisturizer is not the best. The only thing is the texture, it is way too think, I get a “cast” on my face, and my pores feel very blocked when u use it. But it works!
The exact same thing with the night-time cream. I am going to continue ordering from PROVEN.

I recently started using proven cosmetics because an influencer had recommended it in one of her YouTube videos. At first, I was concerned that it wouldn’t match my needs since I’ve tried several brands in the past that have never truly helped target my skin problems not to mention that I was pregnant at the time and was scared that whatever products I was given, would be too strong for me. What really made me feel confident in my purchase was the fact that I was told that a dermatologist would review my online survey answers and formulate a personalized concoction. And boy oh boy were they right!! My skin has never felt this good! I’ve suffered from acne prone skin since I was a teen and now I rarely get a pimple! And quite honestly, I think I’d have zero if it wasn’t for these pesky masks we’re currently wearing for work. Which by the way, reminds me about the time they sent me a cute 100% mule berry silk mask 😷 as a thank you 🥰 that really made me feel special 🥲💜 my only reason for giving this a 4 out of 5 is the fact that the containers are a bit tricky when you’re running out. They don’t pump the leftover because it doesn’t have a tube, so I have to keep them upside down. Maybe they do it so you revive more product? If that’s the case then I really can’t complain

The product is above average. My formula does not adjust for seasons as they said it would. The pumps for the cleanser are terrible!!! I have written in multiple times that the vacuum pump for such a thick product does not work. I spend more time banging and tapping to try to move the product to no avail. The customer service rep tells me to do the same thing, repeatedly, but it doesn't work, then they basically ignore my issue.
The night cream is my fav! The whole system has made a substantial difference to my skins appearance. Less redness, pigmentation, and a reduction to my fine lines. The night cream is super moisturizing a nourishing. I wake up with a healthy, dewy looking glow every morning :)
This is a great balanced skin care that is so easy to follow. I love that it addresses concerns of aging and sends you cards explaining the ingredients used in your formulation so you understand what you are using on your skin.
So far I’ve loved the product and how easy it is to use. I went from using 5 products morning and night to 2. The process had become daunting due to time so I was neglecting me skin. With Proven, I actually look forward to washing my face! The products are gentle and customer service has been great when I’ve had to reach out. The reason for 4 stars is the amount of time it actually takes the shipment to go out once they say your new formula is being started. This last month was close to a month. I’ll need to adjust my weeks to make up for the delay. Other than that, it’s been a wonderful product to use and I plan on continuing using the line!!
This company is terrible. Good luck getting customer service to respond to you! They sent me the wrong products, with my name on them, and they caused a significant facial rash and multiple trips to the allergist and dermatologist. All I want is for them to tell me what was in the wrong formulas so I can avoid it, and they will NOT respond. Notice how almost ALL of these reviews were solicited by the company and say "invited".
Overall I have been enjoying the products. They are easy to use and feel good on my skin.
My melasma began to decrease noticeably after about 3 months of use, However, it has now stopped improving and seems to be getting a bit worse - though I did not take before-after pictures so it is hard to quantify.
I think the customer service is pretty good. I’ve been using the product about five months now, but if I’m being honest I don’t see much change in my skin. It’s smoother, but that was never a big concern. I don’t know that for the price I will continue to subscribe.
They should change is the rate at which is delivered. Even when I delay shipments I don’t have time to use everything else up before my new product arrives. I want to use it in season as it is prescribed, but I definitely don’t want to waste what’s left over. There is always an excess of sunscreen and night cream compared to the face wash- the quantities don’t seem to match up.
I love the way my skin feels while using Proven. It's so soft and not greasy or dry. It took a while for me to get used to using a small amount of the moisturizer but now I love it. While it's not completely stopped my acne, the acne I do get is much smaller and clears up faster. I have a lot less white heads and I've been using less concealer and powder.
I like the products, especially the simplicity of just 3 things, but always run out of the day cream long before the other 2 products even though I use it less than as instructed. The night cream is really nice.
So far my kit is different that anything I’ve ever used in the past. I’m used to using lots of different products or with other three step kits, it never seems like it’s enough. I love how light everything is and it’s obviously working for me. The only complaint I have is that I’ve experienced some dryness but that’s after about a month of use so I think it’s more to do with the slight change in temperature between august and September so I’m looking forward to my next formulation.
I am happy with the skincare, I have noticed a positive change in my skin since using it. I wish the cleanser was a little bigger- I always have lots of leftover moisturizers, but I run out of cleanser each time.
