The staff was helpful, and the location was great. Unfortunately, the amenities were lackluster and did not live up to the reviews I had read. There was blue carpet in the bathroom area where you would need to shower, which felt very outdated and unappealing. The pools were basic and crowded. At the restaurant, the chips were stale and the cheese was cold, although the drink I ordered was delicious. I specifically chose this place because I wanted somewhere decent where I could change, relax, and feel comfortable. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I listened to the positive reviews, but my experience did not match them at all. Overall, I would not stay here again. For the price and experience, it felt more like a motel—and unfortunately, not a very good one.

We had a great experience with the day pass at the Marriott Marquis. The pool area was beautiful, clean, and very relaxing, making it a great option for spending the day without having to stay overnight. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and there were plenty of areas to sit and relax. The facilities were well maintained, and the experience was definitely worth it for a day of relaxing and enjoying the pool. Highly recommended for a fun and relaxing day

First. I love resort pass. Easy to navigate and book. Hilton Del Mar pool area is a little run down. Not enough lounge chairs to accommodate guests. Some of the chairs are ripped and torn. Doesn't quite live up to the Hilton name. Pool service was practically non existent. Staff were nice and friendly.
Choose another resort
The resort was ok, but the pool was soooo dirty. There was a layer of leaves, pollen, just overall green cloudy water in main pool area. I inquired about this and an employee told me it was because the pump was broken that circulates and keeps water clean. We were so disgusted with the condition of the pool and the general uncleanliness of the area we never used an amenity there. What a waste of money.

We had just departed off our cruise and had a late flight so needed to figure out what to do during the day instead of staying at the airport. We ended up choosing the day pass and it was the best decision. The staff was SOOOO attentive and helpful. They gave us a tour of the main area and explained the hours. He even mentioned some key places in the area like Starbucks. It was so worth it and in my opinion, very inexpensive. The staff had airport transit included which was great and they were extremely flexible with that. They even held our luggage in storage to help ease our day. Every single staff member we interacted with was amazing!!! HIGHLY SUGGEST!

There was an ad in Facebook for $20 off first booking. I can't even begin to count how much time I spent trying to get that $20 off. Nor how many attempts I tried. I even messaged via Facebook messenger without a reply. Other than that, the booking process was good.

It was very easy to book and we just loved our time at the hotel we chose! The staff was wonderful and made the experience very enjoyable like we were actually staying there! It was such a fun memory for our kids and we will definitely be doing this again the next time we are there and look forward to doing it in different cities too!
